DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  HABAKKUK 2:3-4

(2)  And the LORD answered me, and said,  Write the vision,  and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
(3)  For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie:  though it tarry, wait for it;  because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
(4)  Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

BE FAITHFUL!

(2)  And the LORD answered me, and said,  Write the vision,  and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.  Brethren, in this context, Prophet Habakkuk prayed, lamented, for the LORD to show mercy on his people, and take away their injustices and persecutions and bring rightful judgement upon his people; then the LORD replied;  "Write down this revelation and make it plain on tablets so that whosoever reads it may run to deliver it."  for, in the past, messengers with good or bad news to deliver, run to appropriate individuals to deliver messages in timely manners; in this context, the LORD was about to reveal his mind regarding Habakkuk's prayers, but wanted everything to be recorded and delivered to appropriate personnel;  (i)  Prophets are known to be oracles of the LORD, and seers who foretells future events; however, Prophets do cry out against injustices, either for themselves, for others or behalves of nations;  (ii)  Habakkuk questioned the LORD, why things were in disarrayed and the people suffered from injustices;  the LORD answered his prayers;  therefore, let us also pray our troubles and concerns unto him, for the LORD answers prayers and he will surely answer!;  case in point,  there are so many devastating phenomenons going on around us and in our world today;  at times, we wonder if the LORD is aware of all these evil occurrences, but let us know that he sees them and knows all about them; for the LORD does not slumber or sleep. (Psalm 121:4);  however, King Solomon said,  "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1);  therefore, as believers in Jesus Christ, we can do our parts, pray to the LORD to intervene in the affairs on this earth as Habakkuk did on behalf of his people;  for, the LORD is merciful and will not forsake the righteous but will hear our prayers and intervene, and change things around for better, also,  let us pray for one another's safety and for blood of Jesus to take control of all nations of this world forevermore.

(3)  For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie:  though it tarry, wait for it;  because it will surely come, it will not tarry.  Brethren, the LORD, explained to Habakkuk why things ought be so until the rightful time, when the vision will manifest itself, for the LORD, is not a man that lies, and will not lie to his own prophets; though fulfillment of prophesies and visions may linger in expectations, people are to remain and hope that something will happen soon, in other words, they are to have faith; for it will surely come to pass, for the LORD is never slower in doing things, or ever be tardy; but he fulfills his promises at appointed times, best known to him, in his own righteousness;  therefore, if we have received promises of the LORD, through dreams, visions or prophesies, let us be encourage today, to have patience and wait for the LORD; for he will surely fulfill his promises in our lives at appropriate times, and we will give him praises and adoration forevermore.

 (4)  Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
Brethren, those who are in places of authorities, but misuse their authorities to torment, persecute and condemn others; referred to in this context as "souls which is lifted up and are not righteous," but are of mean spirited and doers of evil in all their ways; the LORD knows about them and there are days set aside to deal with them; but those who are righteous, will have to trust in the LORD, and walk with strong believes living in the righteousness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

What is faith?  from biblical perspectives; (i)  faith is to believe, trust, and be loyal to the LORD in his righteousness;  (ii)  to not have doubts, when we believe that something we prayed about, have been given instantly; however, in secular perspectives;  (iii)  faith is to firmly believe in something, for which there is no proof to back it up; for, it is written in the scriptures, Hebrew 11:1, "Now faith is the substance of things hope for, the evidence of things not seen.";  therefore, let us not give up on ourselves but still have hope in the LORD; though things are not going well with us today and we do not have solutions to our problems, because we do not know why they are happening;  let us believe in the LORD, that things are changing for better: for, in book of Hebrew 11:3, it is written, "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.";  though no one was there at the beginning of creation, through faith, we believe that all things were created by the LORD through declaration, that things that we see does not really existed by scientific matters or evolution;  also, Jesus said, "If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree,  Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.";  (Luke 17:6);  therefore let us use our spiritual authorities to declare and decree positively, not negatively to bring fulfillment of visions and promises of the LORD from spiritual realms into physical manifestations in our lives.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved, faith works!  as believers, at times we go through wilderness experiences, that only faith in the LORD, through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior can anchor our souls out of it all; for we feel like we are sinking in pits of no returns;  if we are in any kind of sufferings today, let us be encouraged to know that the LORD is aware of our troubles, and working through our faiths in him to bring our souls out of troubles; but, without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrew 11:6);  therefore, let us not be weary and give up but seek the LORD with all our hearts, soul and bodies:  and Come unto him with all our labors and heavy laden, there is rest in him forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!
