ALL IS VANITY

ECCLESIASTES 12:1-2 (1) Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them; (2) While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain.

COMMENTARY: Brethren in the Lord, when we wake up in the morning; we are fresh and vibrant, we tend to forget where the breath of life that we just breathe into our lungs came from.  We jump into the shower, dress ourselves up and head out to our various activities for the day and fail to pray to GOD through his son Jesus Christ to take control of our day. When we are young and healthy, we assume that nothing else matters because the blessing of the Lord in upon us and we are in control of every situation. What we fail to realize is the Lord is watching and waiting to have a relationship with us, but we are over burden with our busy lives that we fail to acknowledge him as our creator. Most of us either do not pray at all, or worship the living GOD; but we continue to labor in vain. (Matthew 11:28) Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  What rest is Matthew speaking about?  The joy that we miss when we fail to bring Christ into our labor.  Jesus, is at the door of our heart calling and waiting to come in. CONCLUSION: We are all in a hurry, the question is where are we going? and what are we reaping out there? and where is the world heading to?  Let us know that when our years draws nigh, and it will whether we like it or not; we will realize that all our labor under sun was in vain. When our lives start to go down and our days be darkened what shall we account for if we do not acknowledge GOD, now through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  It might be too late for us, when death come suddenly.   (ECCLESIASTES 1):.... vanity of vanities; all is vanity. What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun? ... Brethren, let us not labor in vain, while we labor; let us acknowledge GOD, through our Lord and Saviour Jesus. He will surely receive us at the end of days.  Amen and Amen!

GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS

LAMENTATION 3:22-24 (22)It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. (23) They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. (24) The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. COMMENTARY: Brethren in the Lord, GOD's goodness and mercies in our lives are renewed every morning. We cannot survived without his compassion, for he is a consuming fire. He will not hold our iniquities against us; when we repent of our sins, he forgives us everyday through the blood of his son Jesus Christ. GOD's grace continues to abound in our lives everyday when we believe in him; through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and because of his love for us (His creation) we are precious before his eyes. (Luke 15:10) Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of GOD, over one sinner that repenteth. Brethren, we are all sinners, but his compassion fail not when we repent there is joy in his presence in heaven. CONCLUSION: Brethren in the Lord, when we rise up every morning, let us pray to GOD through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for his compassion upon our lives throughout the day; we need to ask for him to grant us victory, protection and bless our day. Almighty GOD, will surely answer our prayers. The Lord is our portion, our souls will continually hope in his mercies for they are renewed everyday. Amen and Amen!

LOVE ONE ANOTHER

I JOHN 5:20-21 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love GOD whom he hath not seen? (21) And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth GOD love his brother also. COMMENTARY: Brethren in Christ, GOD our heavenly father love us so much that when we sin and repent of our sins and pray unto him, he forgives us. The Lord GOD, gave up his only son our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, to be crucified on the cross for the redemption of our sins; he displayed his love by doing so and would like you and I to show the same love to one another. Brethren in Christ, we need to love one another so we can inherit the kingdom of GOD with Christ Jesus; if we do not demonstrate love for one another; the love of GOD, is not in us. It is a commandment from GOD that we show love to one another. Romans 14:8, Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. CONCLUSION: Brethren, by loving one another we fulfilled the law, because we will not kill, steal, commit adultery, lie, defraud, avenge, bear any grudge, worship any other god or profane the name of GOD in vain. GOD is love; Just love one another and fulfill the law.

THE BATTLE IS THE LORDS

>ISAIAH 8:9-10 Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. (10) Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for GOD is with us. COMMENTARY: Brethren in Christ, The Lord GOD spoke through prophet Isaiah to assure his people that he is with them when their enemies take counsel against them. His word teaches us to stay away from gossiping, backbiting and plotting evil against one another. When the demons and witches plan evil against us in the spiritual realm; when we face warfare at the work place, or when friends and family members whom we trusted turn in against us. The Lord GOD, assures us through prophet Isaiah that none of these plans from the enemies shall hold for he will fight our battles and justify us. Brethren, how can we get the Lord to fight our battles for us? We have to build a relationship with him, we need to pray everyday, read his word (the bible) and believe in him through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. CONCLUSION: Let us stay away from gossiping, backbiting, and skimming against one another in the workplace, among friends and family or in the church of God. The Lord knows when our enemies gird themselves against us; and he will surely fight our battles and prevail for he is with us. Amen and Amen!

Is anything too hard for the Lord to do?

JEREMIAH 32:27 Behold, I am the Lord, the GOD of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? COMMENTARY: Brethren, many a time, we forget that GOD, owns the world and all that is in it (PSALM 24 1-2) The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. He created everything and have control over all of his creation. He will change all our negative attributes to positiveness if we believe in him through his only son Jesus Christ. GOD, cast out the devil and his demons from heaven to earth for rebelling against him. The devil would like you and I to be cursed with him in hell. He is desperate in recruiting as many souls as possible from the earth to hell. He makes us believe that we are in control of our lives and we do not need to believe or trust in GOD for our victory and blessing. Brethren, I believe that the devil can bless people to lure them away from GOD of all creation; but GOD, spoke through Prophet Jeremiah, to assure us that there is nothing too hard for him to do. He will rebuke the devil on our behalf and set us free from all evil; such sicknesses, poverty and death. If we only believe in him through his son Jesus Christ; he is able to prosper us with good health, long life and prosperity. There is nothing too hard for him to do.

Have you Bless someone today?

EZEKIEL 36:30 I will also save you from all your uncleanness es; and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you. (30) And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen. COMMENTARY: Ezekiel(22) The Lord GOD said; He will bless us for his holy names sake, for he will forgive our sins, when we profane his name; by swearing, and coursing. When we repent of our sins he is willing to forgive, sanctify, and bless us for his name sake. The Lord GOD,loves us for we are called by his name. He will make us fruitful in everything we do if we believe and trust on his Holy name through his son Jesus Christ. The Lord God, will not lay any poverty or sicknesses upon our lives for his name sake. Just Hallow the name of the Lord always and be blessed everyday, in the name of Jesus!

Have you Hug someone today?

ECCLESIASTES 9:12 For man also knoweth not his time; as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them. COMMENTARY: Dear Brethren, we are like flowers of the field which bloometh in the morning and it gone when the sun goes down. We do not have control over our destiny, such as when to be born or to die. We do not know the day, time and how nor the hour our souls will return to the creator. The only thing we have control over is to make sure that we end up in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ in heaven and not with the devil and his demons in hell. Brethren, let us love and forgive one another as our father in heaven also loved and forgave us of all our sins when he died on the Cross of Calvary, for we know not our time when it falleth suddenly upon us. Have you hug someone today?

QUOTE OF THE DAY: Zachariah 10:1 Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain, so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field. COMMENTARY: When we present our heart desires to the Lord in prayers, we should ask with faith and believe that we already received the answers to what we requested from him. The Lord is able to make bright clouds where there was no clouds before and rain showers on our prayers. He will make it fruitful and abundantly blessed. Just have faith in your prayers!

1 Corinthians 2:3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. Commentary: Brethren, this epistle of Paul to the Corinthians, encourages them to trust in God. In their weaknesses and fear of persecutions from the church of Corinth. When we are being used by the Holy Spirit to minister to the church, friends and family, Paul encourages us not to be afraid for the words given to us are from the Holy Spirit. Let us therefore uplift one another with words spoken through us from the Holy Spirit. Amen

PSALMS 105 1 - 3 O give thanks unto the Lord: call upon his name; make known his deeds among the people. (2) Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him; talk ye of all his wondrous works. (3) Glory ye in his holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord..... Commentary: It is good to praise the Lord in times of trails and temptations, praising the Lord brings his goodness and mercy into our lives. The psalmist King David, spent his years writing psalms of praises and adoration unto God. God, called him a man after his heart because he found favor in his eyes by praising him at all times. Finding favor in the Lord, is to acknowledge him as the Almighty God, the God above all creation and praise him at all times. He will open doors of mercies, he will restore all broken promises in our lives. Just praise him! Amen.

PSALM 2, 1-4 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? (2)The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying. (3) Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. (4) He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh, the Lord shall have them in derision. Commentary: As believers in Jesus Christ, God, fights our battles when our enemies plot against us in dreams, at the work place, in our own family. Through, gossip, backbiting and evil surmising spirits; the Lords knows about their plots and always uses our down-casting to uplift us so our enemies can be put to shame. Believers in Christ, just know that our God never fails and he is in control at all times. Believe on him and ye shall be saved.

PSALM 25: 1 - 11 (1) Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. (2)O my God, I trust in thee; let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. (3) Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause. (4) Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. (5) Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. (6) Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy loving-kindnesses; for they have been ever of old. (7) Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness sake, O LORD. (8) Good and upright is the LORD therefore will he teach sinners in the way. (9) The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. (10) All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. (11) For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great. Commentary: King David hope in the Lord to deliver him from all his enemies, forgive and to strengthen him while he waits for the Lord to use him after he was anointed King over Israel. He trusted in the Lord to deliver, protect him and to show mercy and forgive him of all his sins. Most of us are in the same situation today, through loss of employment, family member or even difficulty to make ends meet. The above psalm of David assures us that there is hope in waiting and trusting in the Lord for his goodness and mercy and to deliver us from all evil. Let us keep trusting in the Lord no mater what the situation, with prayers and reading the word of God always, we shall overcome all tribulations. Amen, in the Blood of Jesus!
