DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  EPHESIANS 2:4-5

(3)  Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
(4)  But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
(5)  Even when we were dead in sins, hath, quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved:)

WHAT THEN?

(5)  Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.  Brethren, before Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again from the death; we were all sinners who associate ourselves with fleshly desires of this world;  we spoke intents of our hearts, pridefully, and with arrogant connotations, demeaned others, go after dictates of our canal minds, and satisfied cravings of our fleshly desires; we were carnally minded in all our ways, and physically frustrated children of indignation, like unbelievers:  (i)  we craved for more satisfactions from worldly possessions, to fill vacuumed hearts, instead of sought the love of our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior;  (ii)  we spent beyond our monthly budgets, charged beyond our given limits, just to keep up with others and made ourselves look happier in the eyes of humanity, (iii)  we suffered emotionally, never knew what will satisfy our souls entirely and grant us peace of minds;  (iv)  we were unable to balance our check books against our financial commitments, and we brought upon our souls, torments, worries, and sleepless nights; because we owe, owe and owe, but never had enough monetary reserves to pay, pay, and pay our debtors and we resided under dictates of  our slave masters;  however, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, gave us the easiest way out from the grids of slavery;  (v)  we just have to walk in spirit and not fulfill the desires of the flesh;  it is written in the scriptures;  "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace." (Romans 8:6);  the choice is ours,  therefore, let us make rightful choices to overcome dictates of the old man; for, immoral behaviors are battles that can only be conquered inwardly, by reading and hearing of the scriptures, by daily prayers and submission to our Father, and to detect and resist voices of demonic infiltration spirits, and be able to deny ourselves from making wrong choices when temptations comes our ways;  therefore,  let us resist the devil and he will flee away from us; but be in spirit;  for, it is written, "For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. (Romans 8:5);  therefore, let us not allow the enemy to win the war by infiltrating our thought processes to go after dictates of the old man and his evil ways which we have already been delivered out of by the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross of Calvary.

(4)  But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,  Brethren,  because of our Father's goodness and mercies, and the magnitude of his affection and compassion that he has for humanity;  he did not want to allow his children to continue to suffer in the hands of the enemy, therefore, he made a way for us to escape from bondage of sins, into salvation, grace and eternity; for it is written, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that who soever believes in him, should not perish but have everlasting life."  (John 3:16);  however, Jesus died, tore the covering vail of the tempo, reconcile us with our Father, so we can approach him, have a relationship with him;  to obey or not obey him, the choices are ours to make;  (i)  we can receive his goodness and mercies, salvation and enjoy grace and peace freely by just accepting Jesus Christ into our hearts as Lord and Savior, be baptized into the faith of his righteousness;  or, (ii)  we can continue to walk in darkness, and fulfill lusts of our flesh, be carnally minded, under the slave master, and make Hades our eternal destinations; or (iii)  we can make turns, to Jesus Christ, with our labors and heavy laden, ask for the Holy Spirit's help, to free ourselves from grinds of all sinful attributes by sacred blood of Jesus Christ; that we might receive salvation, grace and peace forevermore.

(5)  Even when we were dead in sins, hath, quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved:)  Brethren, because of our Father's enormous love for his children; though we slept in the world of darkness, and were no longer spiritually alive, but buried with immoral behaviors, walked pathways of ungodliness as children of perdition, our Father showed his greater love, brought us back into his shinning lights, kindle our spirits with Jesus Christ, his Son, by his blood redemption, we are in alignments with our Father again, receive salvation and eternity; for it is written,  "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;....Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:" (Romans 3:23-24);  therefore, by grace, we are saved, through faith; and that not of ourselves but it is a gift of our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior forevermore.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved,  we all know that on the cross of Calvary, Jesus paid for all our iniquities and set us free;  today, we all put on smiles, sit next to each other, in pews to worship our Father;  however, there maybe others who are suffering physically or emotionally, and cannot relate their troubles to others, but carry their burdens on their shoulders, to church and back home at all times, and hope that someday, the Holy Spirit will touch their lives and release them of their burdens;  therefore, let us acknowledge people we come in contact with at all times;  regardless of their emotional states of minds, as believers, we are to smile, say hello, touch lives we come across everyday; because it is the right thing to do; when we do so, we are in the will of our Father,  and are connected in his love; and are one congregation of love, under one shepherd of love, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  Romans 11:6  And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace: But, if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
