DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  HEBREWS 2:2-4

(2)  For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
(3) How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
(4)  God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

DO YOU HAVE AN UMBRELLA?

(2)  For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;  Brethren, Apostle Paul reminds believers, to pay serious attention to what we have heard, put them in memory, since messages received from angels of our Father are always constant in manifestations;  example,  (i)  in Luke chapter 1, Zachariah received a message of birth of John the Baptist, it was manifested;  in Matthew chapter 2, Mary also received a message regarding the birth of Jesus Christ and it was manifested; therefore, when we received messages from angles of our Father, let us take good thoughts of those messages, for at appointed times, they will manifest in our lives;  however, if we refuse to honor those messages, no one knows what will come out of our disobedience to our Father and Maker;  (ii)  and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward;  therefore, if we refuse to honor words from our Father given by angels, we sin against him and are disobedience to his words; and will receive right punishments for disobeying him;  therefore, let us pray about messages received from angels, words of prophesies, dreams and visions, to be sure that they are words of our Father; if they came from him, then we ought to obey him to avoid punishments;  however, we ought to be careful, with messages that the deceiver does not lure us to go against ourselves and sin against our Father; he is very crafty, let us beware of his lies and deceitful ways.

(3) How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;  Brethren, in previous text, we read that, those who receive messages directly from angels, but fail to believe them or take heed to instructions from our Father will receive punishments;  in this verse, Paul asks this question; "How can we get away from the wrath of our Father, if we disregard such notably phenomenon of deliverance from all iniquities by the blood of Jesus Christ, and by his death and resurrection which was first spoken by the Lord in Matthew 20:18-19;  his message of justification, and the kingdom of God and his righteousness, which was confirmed later by his disciples and those who heard him preached during his ministry;  as believers, let us do our parts, honor words of our Father, and not neglect our own salvation and grace given freely by suffering, death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

(4)  God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?  Brethren, our Father also testified of his Son with signs, wonders, and various miracles, given through the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his own will as recorded in Acts chapter 2;  therefore, as believers of Jesus Christ, called out of darkness into marvellous lights of our Father; Jesus, will never forsake his people but will support, protect our lives and grant us victories over all enemy attacks;  if we answer the call to service him, Jesus, will give us more anointing powers and gifts of the Holy Spirit and will perform miracles signs and wonders through us according to his own will;  therefore, let us offer ourselves unto our Father, as those who have been brought from death into life, as instruments of righteousness for his glorification forevermore.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved, in the lesson of today, we read that we are to obey words of our Father, in other to avoid his punishments; and be grateful for the gift of salvation thorough Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; and testify about what we have known to others, believe in Jesus Christ, have faith, in his righteousness; for our Father will always back up his children, who obey him, with miracles, signs and wonders, to do his will, and to save souls unto salvation and life everlasting.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  Romans 6:16  Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey;  whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
