DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  GALATIANS 5:24-26

(24)  And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
(25)  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
(26)  Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

WATCH YOUR STEPS!

(24)  And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.  Brethren, as believers who are Christ Jesus;  on the day we receive him into our hearts as Lord and Savior, get baptized into the faith of his righteousness; we become born again Christians, and we no longer live in sinful natures; (i)  for, our old self, unrighteousness was crucified in him;  Apostle Paul letter to the Galatians, 2:20; it is written, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."; therefore, when we receive Jesus Christ into our hearts as Lord and Savior, believe in him that he died and rose again from the death, to grant salvation and eternity; our sinful natures dies in him also, and we receive newer lives in him, through his shed blood on the cross, all our iniquities, past, present and future are forgiven forevermore:  (ii)  when we crucify our sinful natures in him; the necessary steps to take to move forward in our walk in his righteousness, is to get baptized into the faith; by water immersion, also known as water baptism; with this process, significantly, believers are buried in water, as Jesus Christ was buried in the tomb; when our bodies immerse into waters, our past sins are washed away and souls receive spiritual rebirth,  our newer selves and our old selves are done away with by the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit;  (iii) also, when we come back up from waters of immersions;  significantly, we rise up again from our tombs, just as Jesus Christ rose again from his tomb;  and we enter into his resurrection, and we became born again, and our souls become readily accessible to receive the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit; therefore, baptism is necessary to complete the redemption process in believers walk of faith, in the righteousness of Jesus Christ;  and those that are already redeemed, their sinful natures have also being crucified with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior;  therefore, sin have no dominion over us and we walk in faith, in his righteousness;  for it is written, "Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin." (Romans 6:6);  therefore, when we are in Jesus Christ, we no longer run after sinful dictates of the flesh, affections and lusts of our old selves; but walk in spirit, resist the devil and he will flee away; if we should sin, and we all do, for no one is perfect; we just have to ask for mercies of our heavenly Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, he sits on his right hand as our advocate, and he already paid full price for all our sins forevermore.

(25)  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  Brethren, when we are born again, and the Holy Spirit resides in our mortal bodies;  let us also allow the Holy Spirit to lead us in his ways of righteousness, that we do not get derailed from our god-given purposes in life;  let us learn how to pay attention to dictates of the Holy Spirit, his warnings not to allow our old selves to return into our lives;  there are times when the enemy will bring along temptations, to lure us back into lusts of the flesh, our old sinful natures;  therefore, let us live by dictates of the Holy Spirit, walk in the spirit, in his righteousness, and not fulfil fleshly desires of our old selves, but, be strengthen by hearing and reading of his words;  pray and praise fervently; for, it is written;  "This I say then,  Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh." (Galatians 5:16);  the thing is; if we walk in the Spirit our sinful natures, cannot overtake our born again spirits; but rather vice versa, and we grow from faith to faith, and glory to glory; for, after we are born again, there are still transformation processes that we have to go through, to be Christlike, during our transformation periods, we are still vulnerable to sinful natures; therefore, it is better for us to read the scriptures everyday;  for in them are words of wisdom, knowledge, understandings and life everlasting;  therefore, let us walk in the spirit that the righteousness of Jesus Christ could be fulfilled our lives forevermore.

(26)  Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. Brethren, if we walk in Spirit and in the righteousness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we will not think better of ourselves than others, to show off with arrogance and prideful spirits, and to stir up spirits of enviousness and jealousies against one another;  for, it is written; "For I say,  through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith."(Romans 12:3); though we are all in the body of Christ, everyone believes and faiths are on different levels, some are more stronger than others;  therefore, let  us assist and encourage one another in good faith, and do all things with spirits of humility, let us not demean others, put them in boxes because we think we know better than they do, but let us bring them along on this journey of faith, embrace one another with the love of our heavenly Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved, we are redeem from all deeds of the flesh; we are in Jesus Christ now, let us walk in the Spirit, resist the devil and he will flee away from us;  for our heavenly Father's eyes are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry; but his face is against those that do evil, to cut off the memory of them from earth;  therefore, as believers in the body of Jesus Christ, let live in the Spirit, walk in the Spirit; and refuse to join multitude to do evil, but shine our lights of glories all over the world:  today, if we have not receive Jesus Christ into our hearts as Lord and Savior yet; this is the right time to do so, let us come unto him with all your labors, heavy laden, in him there is rest for our souls forever and evermore.  In our daily prayers, let us remember to pray for the Peace of this world.   Shalom and Shalom!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:
