DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  HEBREWS 10:38-39

(38)  Now the just shall live by faith:  but, if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
(39)  But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH

(38)  Now the just shall live by faith:  but, if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.  Brethren, as believers and followers of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, we are to live by faith; however, what is the definition of faith?  (i)  faith is confidence or trust in a person or thing;  therefore, as believers who walk by faith and not by sight, and do not believe in any other name, accept the name of Jesus; and our full trust is in him, that he has supernatural powers to do all things, and if we continue to believe in with him, when troubles comes our ways; he will deliver us or help us to overcome by his saving grace;  (ii)  secondly, faith is a belief that is not based on any proof;  therefore, as believers, we do not need any other proof than what the scripture says; that Jesus Christ is the Son of our heavenly Father; though he was part of him, he was born of the flesh, walked among us on planet earth, experience works of the enemy; ministered the kingdom of our heavenly Father to humanity and at the end of his ministry, he suffered in the hands of evil men; and was crucified on the cross, died and rose again from the dead on the third day; and now sited on right hand of the Father as an advocate for all those who trust and believe in him;  therefore, we have proofs of who he is already and what he is capable of doings; therefore, let us put all our trust in him;  for, it is written in the scriptures;  "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6);  brethren, when we put our trusts in Jesus Christ, that means, we give all areas of our lives unto him; we surrender it all, and allow him be in the center of our daily undertakings, we bring him along in all situations; negative or positive decisions; regardless of what we do, what goes or comes into our lives; let Jesus Christ be in the center of it all!  if we do so, we will see his manifestations, of power, protections, victories and blessings forevermore;  (iii)  thirdly, to have faith, is to believe in our heavenly Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, adhere to principles of our faith and life guidelines of wisdom, knowledge and understandings from reading of his words.

As believers, we are to grow from faith to faith; and not be stagnant on levels of faiths;  therefore, we take lessons and faith testings periodically through trails and tribulations;  however, what do we do as believers, to strengthen our faiths when in testing?  we have to read our bibles; focusing on exemplify lives of holy men of our heavenly Father, whose faith have been tested, and successfully overcome trails and tribulations by believing in our heavenly Father; and build ourselves up through our trails to accelerate to next levels of our faith in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior; however, we have to endure to pass testing periods;  if for some reasons we fail our tests, we cannot move up to next levels, but will have to retake those tests again, until we successfully overcome by the blood of Jesus Christ;  therefore, when testing periods comes our ways; let us pray, ask him what we need to focus on, learn and pass our testings to move forward to our final destinations in life;  (iv)  when in trails and tribulations; we have to put on the whole amour of faith, our heavenly Father, that when troubles and testings comes our ways, we will not fail, but be able to stand firmly against devises of the enemy; for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places;  therefore, when testing period comes our ways, and the enemy is given the grace to shake our grounds; let us know that our heavenly Father is aware of what is going on, let us turn on our faith touch lights and stand firmly to the enemy and he will flee away from us forevermore;  if our faith fails, and we backslide, lean on others, instead of leaning on the author and finisher of our races of life;  then our heavenly Father, can not have pleasure and boast that we are his beloved children; therefore, let us hold steadfast to our faith in Jesus Christ; and not allow sufferings of this world to draw us back into darkness, but let faith have his perfect works in us; let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for our Father is faithful and will fulfill his promises in our lives, regardless of our present failures.

(39)  But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.  Brethren, as believers, we are not of men that backslide back into their sinful natures when confronted with troubles of this world; but we are born again believers who maintain their faiths until deliverance and salvation of our souls are completed; trusting Jesus Christ all the way into life everlasting;  if we are in difficult situations; let us pray without ceasing, call upon the name of Jesus, our deliverer; sing songs of praises unto our heavenly Father, and thank him for what he has done; he will be pleased with our faith in him, and will deliver us speedily in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved, as believers, we all have faiths in our heavenly Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior;  however, there are levels of faith and we grow in faith everyday until we reach our faith potentials to inherit eternity; therefore, let us follow carefully footsteps of Jesus Christ; for, his faith was tested in the garden of Gethsemane, he prayed to overcome and trusted our heavenly Father and said;  "O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done."(Matthew 26:42); therefore, if we are in trails and tribulations, let us not pray against those situations but pray them into the hands of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; ask him to help us to successfully overcome by his blood shed on cross of Calvary, so that when our testing periods are over, we may receive crown of glories and eternity;  Jesus is calling us today, come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!
