I CHRONICLES 16:8-10
(8) Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people. (9) Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works. (10) Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.
COMMENTARY:
Brethren in the Lord, let's give thanks to GOD, always in hymns, prayers, and in thanks offering.
When we give GOD, the glory for his goodness and mercies in our lives; he takes delight in us, and pours out more of his blessings upon our lives. (Isaiah 65:14) Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit. (that is, if we fail to give him the glory, the joy of our heart will turn into sorrow and our spirit will be grieved.)
We also need to testify of his deeds to others when we experience his manifestation in our lives; for by doing so, the faith of others are strengthen and it could lead unbelievers to salvation through our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
CONCLUSION:
Let us give GOD, the honor, glory and adoration daily through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen and Amen!
