PSALM 18:46-49
The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the GOD of my salvation be exalted. (47) It is GOD that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me. (48) He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man. (49) Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.
COMMENTARY:
Brethren in the Lord, King David wrote this psalm to glorify the Lord who delivered him from all his enemies. We do experience attacks on our lives such as (warfare at work, nightmares in our dreams, persecutions and illnesses in our body systems,) these attacks are from the demonic world, and they are sent to torment and to prevent us from fulfilling our GOD given assignments in life. Brethren, We need to be aware of the existence of these demonic attacks and be prayerful.
As believers, the Lord sometimes will use afflictions, persecutions and tribulations sent to us from our enemies to strengthen our faith in him; he will exonerate us over our enemies when we are proven to be faithful children.
CONCLUSION:
Brethren in Lord, if we encounter storms of life, and they do come; let us pray to GOD through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for deliverance, and when we are delivered from demonic attacks on our lives, let us be grateful to the Lord as King David did and tell others of his goodness and mercies everyday. Amen and Amen!
