ALL IS VANITY

ECCLESIASTES 12:1-2 (1) Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them; (2) While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain.

COMMENTARY: Brethren in the Lord, when we wake up in the morning; we are fresh and vibrant, we tend to forget where the breath of life that we just breathe into our lungs came from.  We jump into the shower, dress ourselves up and head out to our various activities for the day and fail to pray to GOD through his son Jesus Christ to take control of our day. When we are young and healthy, we assume that nothing else matters because the blessing of the Lord in upon us and we are in control of every situation. What we fail to realize is the Lord is watching and waiting to have a relationship with us, but we are over burden with our busy lives that we fail to acknowledge him as our creator. Most of us either do not pray at all, or worship the living GOD; but we continue to labor in vain. (Matthew 11:28) Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  What rest is Matthew speaking about?  The joy that we miss when we fail to bring Christ into our labor.  Jesus, is at the door of our heart calling and waiting to come in. CONCLUSION: We are all in a hurry, the question is where are we going? and what are we reaping out there? and where is the world heading to?  Let us know that when our years draws nigh, and it will whether we like it or not; we will realize that all our labor under sun was in vain. When our lives start to go down and our days be darkened what shall we account for if we do not acknowledge GOD, now through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  It might be too late for us, when death come suddenly.   (ECCLESIASTES 1):.... vanity of vanities; all is vanity. What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun? ... Brethren, let us not labor in vain, while we labor; let us acknowledge GOD, through our Lord and Saviour Jesus. He will surely receive us at the end of days.  Amen and Amen!
