DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  1 PETER 4:17-19

(17)  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
(18)  And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
(19)  Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing as unto a faithful Creator.

HIS FAITHFULNESS!

Brethren, in this chapter of the above text, Apostle Peter encourage believers to persevere and forbear in sufferings; that sufferings in the faith, in the righteousness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is a package deal for believers; every true believer and follower of Jesus Christ will suffer at certain points of their lives for righteousness sake, however, believers are to endure sufferings, and trust our Father, regardless of what may seem to prevail against them; for, Jesus Christ is in control of all those who suffer for righteousness sake, if believers persevere, forbear and not lose hope or backslide from the faith, spiritually, their souls will be seared with hot irons, to make them stronger, for purposes of our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; for, it is written, "The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate." (Psalm 34:22);

Apostle Peter went on to say, "For the time is come that Judgment must begin at the house of God: therefore, as believers, let us emulate Christ in all our undertakings, so that the world will see us as shinning examples; of Jesus Christ; for regardless of how righteous we are in him; someday, we will face the throne of judgment; so, let us double check our ways in the righteousness of our Father, if we have erred, it is time to align ourselves back in his righteousness before it is too late; for we will never know when trumpets shall sound in heavenly places, for second coming of Jesus Christ back to planet earth to receive us unto himself forevermore; are we ready?;  (ii)  and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?;  Peter is saying that, Jesus Christ is expecting believers to know better; therefore, judgment will start from the house of our Father, his holy fold; and if believers, who are supposed to be shinning examples, are found to be indulged in ungodliness receive eternal punishments; what will happen to the unbelievers who lived their entire lives in ungodliness?;  the answer is, we shall all receive same punishments; for it is written, "For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest, he also spare not thee." (Romans 11:20); so, let him that thinks he stands take heed lest he falls; (1 Cor. 10:12);  let us not be deceitful, for it is not easy to walk in the righteousness of our Father without temptations of the enemy, but we can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens us through the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit and by prayer and reading of his words;  let us be bold and Christlike in all our ways, not hide behind the walls of our faith and shade ourselves from ungodliness of this fallen world, but be bold as lions of the tribe of Judah; stand firmly on our believes, never swerve back and forth on opinions and issues of ungodliness, but preach the truthfulness of matters from the holy scriptures, and save lost souls from darkness into the lights of eternal kingdom in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior forevermore.

Point to ponder, the question from Apostle Peter to believers is;  "And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?";  this is a good question, we all know what will happen to those who refuse to repent from ways of ungodliness into the righteousness of our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; it is written in book of Psalm 1:6, "For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.";  no matter what goes on in this world of darkness, the establishment of our Father remains forevermore, with the fact that Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior knows those who are his and will bring them unto himself, in his glorious appearance in the skies, during his second coming; therefore, let believers of Jesus Christ, resist temptations of the enemy, walk in righteousness, be peace makers, spiritually and morally encourage one another to keep the faith, and persevere, forbear in all things into life everlasting.

Brethren,   Apostle Peter went on the say that,  "Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing as unto a faithful Creator. therefore, if we suffer for righteousness sake, let us submit our lives unto Jesus Christ who had called us out of darkness to his marvelous lights as instruments of his glorification, continue to trust him, do as he will do, persevere in right doings, know that all things will work together for good, for those who are called according to purposes of our faithful Father; that our sufferings are not in vain, but there are eternal rewards awaiting for us in heavenly places;  for it is written, "But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you." (1 Peter 5:10);  therefore, instead of complaining about our sufferings, and how we feel in our wilderness experiences, let us rather rejoice, to know that we are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, we may be glad also with exceeding joy, receive crown of glories in heavenly places forevermore;  therefore, in everything let us give thanks; for it is the will of our Father that we suffer with Jesus Christ in his righteousness.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved, we are in rightful paths of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, there is therefore no condemnation to those who are in him; but let us not get derailed by infiltration spirits, who are in world of darkness roaming around to lead souls into eternal damnation; but rather let us commit our lives into the hands of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, trust him and truthfully serve our Father in his righteousness forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTES OF THE DAY:

(KJV.) Romans 14:10  But why dost thou judge thy brother?  or  why dost thou set at nought thy brother?  for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

(KJV.)  Romans 14:13  Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
