(KJV.) MATTHEW 21:42-43
(42) Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
(43) Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
COME AND SEE WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE!
Brethren, as human beings, at times we only recognize people by their statuses, genders, colors and races; however, in the perspective of our Father, all souls are equal before him; for he created man in his likeness, (Genesis 1:27); but, he favors the righteous and his countenance upholds the upright at heart, (Psalm 11:7); therefore, our Father is not unrighteous in dealing with his children, he resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble and those who fear him.
In today's text, Jesus spoke to his disciples about how not to reject people who do not measure up to our standards, or lack knowledge, or diversify in national origins, color, religion or genders; when we refuse to accept people different from us in any type of ways; our actions and behaviors maybe offensive to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and will not be acceptable to our Father, because, he is merciful and gracious to his children, he does not condemn anyone but will justify the vulnerable, as children of his bosom and set them free and above only.
Case in point; when a builder is building a house and finds a broken brick among his bricks, he rejects the brick as unworthy for his use among the rest of the bricks, for it is broken and cannot fit exactly into required positions; however,, the builder should not destroy the broken brick completely while the house is still in construction, there is still opportunities that the same brick can be useful to fit perfectly at the corners of same buildings before the construction is completed entirely; in other words, we have to be careful not to be too judgmental and refuse to accept people, but completely cast them away from our lives; such as, friends, family members, co-workers and other believers etc.., people who we think are worthless, good for nothing or refuse to recognize others for various reasons known to our human imaginations; for our Father makes something out of nothing; for he formed humanity out of dust of the ground; he will take worthless things and make them worthy for his glorification forevermore: and in this world; we may never know when we will come across those individuals that we despised before, and they maybe in positions to help us to overcome mountains of difficulties.
Fruits of thoughts, our Father looks upon the hearts of the children of men, he does not look at our nationalities, statuses or genders; if our hearts are acceptable to him, he will give us grace to be his chosen vessels for his glorification; regardless of who we are or our capabilities to be instruments of his glory; he will receive us as we are, transform our lives, anoint, empower and make us useful for his glorification forevermore; for, in the perspective of our Father, we are all his useful children. Jesus Christ introduced the kingdom of heaven unto humanity; not to certain nationality alone, but whosoever will receive his words and walk in righteousness, and do his will, have everlasting life; brethren, Jesus was the stone that the builders (scholars) refused; for when he came to this world, to take away iniquities of humanity, he was rejected as the Son of our Father, and crucified on the cross, he died and was buried in the tomb, but the third day he rose again from the dead, ascended into heaven and sited at the right hand of our Father, as King of all Kings and Lord of all Lords, and he reigns forever and evermore; Jesus was rejected by humanity, but was made ruler of all things by the Father of all creation forevermore. Amen!
CONCLUSION:
Dearly beloved, let us accommodate one another, show love of our Father and be merciful, accept others regardless of who they are and leave all judgement to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, but focus on our final destinations in life everlasting; let us live exemplary lives for the world to see that we are in the lights of our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; and leave all worries of this world unto him, but have joy within ourselves to know that we are not rejected, but will be head stones of the corners of the body of Christ forever and evermore. Amen and Amen!
