DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  ROMANS 15:1-3

(1)  We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities  of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
(2)  Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
(3)  For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written,  The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

GRACE BE UNTO YOU!

Brethren, in the above text, Apostle Paul encourages believers that are stronger in the faith, to be patient, put up with those who are morally weak in the faith, receive them, reconcile all differences, without arguments and not seek our own self interest as standards for making decisions for all, to satisfy our self agendas; but as believers, in one body of Jesus Christ, let us think of one another as brothers and sisters of one heavenly Father, embrace ourselves as family, with a common goal, to take down the enemy of our faith; and bring lost souls into salvation and eternity; and not warfare against one another with demeaning connotations; this is an attribute of the enemy to infect our spirits to disagree, envy, hate and insult one another, in other to bring divisions within the body of Christ; let us beware of his devises, but rather let us be in spirit, uplift, encourage, comfort, inspire, support the weaker in strengths, be patient with one another and live peaceably with all men; for it is written, "Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel."(Philippians 1:27).

Point to ponder, Apostle Paul went on to say, that instead of pleasing just our own selves, each of us should please our neighbors, friends, family and others for their good, to emotionally, spiritually and morally build them up;  therefore, let us do things that bring peace unto others, welcome one another with genuine brotherly love, show kindness, understand one another's points of views, and depart from evil but do good, seek peace and pursue it, as we put into other people's well, our well will never run dry in Jesus Name.  Amen!

Case in point, as believers, followers of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, let us emulate Christ; that means, we cannot do whatever we desires to do on this earth as the heathens do; for is written in the book of 1 Corinthians 10:23, "All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.": therefore, let us walk in his righteousness, and not portray ourselves like the heathens, but in all situations, view ourselves as joint heirs with Jesus Christ, and if joint heirs, "what will Jesus do?"; for, we are not of ourselves, the spirit of him who call us out of darkness into his marvelous lights dwells richly in our innermost spirits, works all things from our innermost spirits to accomplish his purposes throughout the earth; Jesus said, "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." (John 5:30); therefore, everything we do, before we make decisions, let us seek the will of our Father, from our innermost spirits, wisdom to know his will, sense of direction to walk in rightful pathways and make sure that the Holy Spirits is guiding our ways, so we fall not into traps of our enemies,

Brethren, even unbelievers, whether they are aware of the facts that, though they have rejected or have not yet received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; he is the ultimate source of their souls; it is up to them to decide where they will spend the rest of their lives, whether in Hades damnation with the devil or in life everlasting with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; this the choice for humanity before judgment day;  also, as believers, let us have the mindset to know that as Christ suffered from hands of evil men, rebukes, criticisms, disgraces and shamefulness before his death on the cross of Calvary, we will also partake of his sufferings to gain crowns of glories in heavenly places forevermore;  however, it is written, "And I say unto you my friends,  Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you: whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him."(Luke 12:4-5); therefore, as Christ endured sufferings, let us also be encourage today to persevere in sufferings, forbear, control ourselves when provoked by evil works of men; pray and supplicate in the Spirit, for ourselves and others who are also in sufferings, sing songs of praises to our Father; and wait patiently for deliverance from Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior;  for when Paul and Silas were imprisoned for righteousness sake; they prayed and sang praises to our Father; suddenly, there was and earthquake, the foundation of the prison shook, immediately, all the doors of the prison were opened and every one's bands were loosed; (Acts 16);  prayer works!;  therefore, let us not focus on what our reproaches are; but rather pray, give our Father all the glory through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior forevermore.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved, those of us who have grown in the faith, let us encourage others who are weaken with our gifts, talents and inspirations, to strengthen their faith in the righteousness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; the same ways, Jesus called us out of darkness into his lights of glories, to be vessels with differs gifts to work with one another and collectively, fellowship together as one body in his righteousness, therefore, let us not focus on ourselves alone, but rather offer help to others, who need assistance to make it through difficult times; for our callings into the body of Christ are not to ourselves alone but to serve Jesus Christ by servicing others; also, let us not demean, talk unruly to others but let us control our tongues, speak candidly, have respect for others regardless of what their statuses may be in the faith of the righteousness of Jesus Christ; let us know what we stand for as believers, followers who are called for purposes of our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior to bring lost souls into lights of salvation, grace and life everlasting. and not for our own purposes.  Grace be unto you!  Amen and Amen!
