DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  1 TIMOTHY 4:11-13

(11)  These things command and teach.
(12)  Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
(13)  Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

WHAT IS BOTHERING YOU?

Brethren, in this context, taken from Apostle Paul's letter to Timothy, we are encouraged to take full charge and impart knowledge of what we know and have learned to others;  saying, (i)  Let no man despise thy youth;  that is, we are to cherish every moment of our lives, and should not allow others to look down upon us with contempt, as youngsters in the faith or baby Christians, who do not know what they are doing or where they are going after death;  for we know that we are saved children of our Father, not lost souls in the body of Jesus Christ, marked for eternal damnation;  though, some were called out of darkness into marvelous lights of salvation before others, wisdom and knowledge are given without measures; therefore, it does not matter when believers are called into the faith of the righteousness of Christ; what matters is, how faithful we are to our callings, and how we relate to others in the faith, and serve with gifts allocated within our innermost spirits; therefore, let us not put ourselves down, or allow others to make us feel unworthy but focus entirely on what we do for Jesus Christ, in and outside the faith;  it is Christ that justifies, it is him alone that will determine if we are good stewardship, and are worthy to receive crown of glories in life everlasting;  therefore, let us be encouraged to persevere to the finish lines of our destinations;  (ii)  be thou an example of the believers;  therefore, let us live exemplify able lives, lives that are worthy of imitations, through our actions and behaviors; let us not join multitudes to do evil, associate ourselves with evil doers, who are walking in perdition; but be Christlike in all that we do; with mind sets that our Father is aware of all our movements, he hears our utterances and knows our hearts, if we are truly with him; (iii)  in words, in conversation;  as believers, let us choose our words carefully, and speak with wisdom and grace, regardless of our states of minds, happy or unhappiness; let us not speak in annoyance, with pride or arrogance but exercise patience so others can understand clearly our expressions, and peacefully resolve all matters; that they may attain wisdom from our expressions to lead others to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; for, it is written, "Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man." (Colossians 4:6).

Case in point,  in charity;  let us show love to one another, by doing good through our generosities, give to the poor, homeless and those in needy situations;  for love is of our Father, because of his love for his children, he does not allow anyone to perish; therefore, he gave his only begotten son to die on the cross to pay for all our inquiries, that we may show same kindness to humanity; and be blessed with his goodness and mercies forevermore;  (iv)  in spirit; as believers, let us always be in spirit, speak to ourselves in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, sing, make melodies in our hearts to our Father, for, if we are in spirit; we can resist temptations of the enemy, he will flee away from us; and not only that, but we ought to be truthful in all our ways also, for we grieve the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit residing within our mortal bodies when we live in lies and deceitfulness; for it is written, "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." (John 4:24);  (v)  in faith; as believers, we ought to have enormous faith in our Father, and know that he can do all things, and he is always on our sides, working all situations for our own good;  for without faith, it is impossible to please him;  however, there are moments in our lives, when our faiths will be challenged by the enemy, in those moments; regardless of what the enemy will do, without faith in our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; we will find it difficult to overcome our testings and if we fail our testings periods, to prove ourselves to Jesus Christ, that we are worthy of crown of glories, we will have to go through testings over and over again, until we successfully overcome by faith in our Father through the blood Jesus Christ and word of our testimonies;  if we strengthen ourselves, while in testings, with prayers, reading of the scriptures, and trust in him, that he is able to help us overcome our troubles, then eventually our prayers will be answered, breakthrough will come from our Father and we will overcome by the blood of Jesus;  therefore, in all situations, let us see ourselves as over comers not failures, because of our faith in our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior forevermore;  (vi)  in purity; as believers, let us free ourselves from wordily and fleshly contaminants, and refrain from backsliding into deeds of our old selves, but rather sanctify our hearts by faith in his righteousness, as peculiar people zealous of good works, to bring others along into salvation and eternity;  for, it is written, " Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse  your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded." (James 3:8);  so, let us read the scriptures everyday, to urge, advise and encourage one another with the principles of our faith in the body of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, salvation, second coming and life everlasting.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved,  today we are encouraged to believe in ourselves, know who we are in the faith, embrace our callings, focus on what matters in life and serve our Father diligently through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior;  if we have any doubts in the faith, let us pray to Jesus Christ for all answers, but let us not give up, walk away, and lose salvation and eternity.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  2 Timothy 2:2  And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
