DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  HEBREWS 4:14-16

(14)  Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heaven, Je'sus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
(15)  For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
(16)  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

JESUS OUR GREAT HIGH PRIEST

Brethren, as believers, we are to be faithful in our various callings and openly declare our believes and opinions in faith through the righteousness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; he ascended into heaven after resurrection from the grave and he is our advocate, judging all things and will vindicate us after we suffer for righteousness sake; therefore, let us not be ashamed of ourselves for standing up for what we believe in the faith of his righteousness but approach him in times of troubles in his sanctuary without fear or feelings of failures that we may receive his kindness and blessings of favors forevermore.

Case in point, Apostle Paul encourages believers saying, (i)  Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heaven, Je'sus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession:  we are to strongly maintain our possessions of declaration as believers and followers of Jesus Christ; for he is our Lord, Savior and Advocate that is seated on the right hand of the Father and working all things on our behalves that whatever hardships we go through in the faith of his righteousness, he will never forsake us but will prevail against all odds and grant us everlasting peace;  (ii)  For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin:  our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, is merciful and full of compassion, he feels our weakness and emotions, knows what bewails our souls through afflictions, sufferings and pains; though he was without iniquities while on planet earth, yet he was cause to suffer for iniquities of humanity to the point of crucifixion, death on the cross of Calvary and rose again from death to set humanity free from grids of iniquities into salvation, grace and life everlasting.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT:

Points to ponder, (a)  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need:  dearly beloved,  (i)  let us be encouraged to believe in ourselves and who we are in the faith of the righteousness of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior;
(ii)  let us stand firm in what we believe during times of trails and tribulations; regardless of what seems to be prevailing against our souls; we have an advocate and vindicator, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, who is aware of all situations and will take absolute control and it shall be well again;  (iii)  let us trust and believe in him, that he is able to bring us out of all negative situations regardless of our troubles;  (iv)  let us not cover up our flaws to make others believe that things are going well, for we may need prayer supports from other believers when in trails and tribulations,
(v)  let us not be afraid of the unknown dangers or difficulties about our situations but lean totally on Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith without timidness or shamefulness to bring us out of all troubles,  (vi)  lastly, while still in valleys of despairs, let us enter into his holiness with praises, adoration and thanksgivings for what he has done, doing and will to do, to receive his goodness, mercies and assistance in times of dreadfulness.

Fruits of thoughts,  Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior in his ministry, encountered several testings, trails and temptations from adversaries, scholars and scribes; today, whatever difficulties we face as believers, Jesus knows and understands what enemies are trying to do to discourage and derail our destiny; however, Jesus our advocate is not sleeping on his throne of judgement; he is aware of all schemes, antagonisms and disgruntle behaviors of our enemies coming against us to discourage our faith in his righteousness; they are nothing new to him; for during his ministry, though he was sinless, he suffered from hands of ungodly men who claimed to be godly, but he did not give up on what he was assigned to do but persevered to the finish line with forbearance for the glorification of the Father of all creation, the LORD of hosts; today, let us be encouraged not to stumble though the path be dark as night, there are stars which guides his humble servants, let us trust in Jesus and do right things for him; for there are crown of glories awaiting in heavenly places for all those who persevere and forbear to finish their assignments regardless of hindrances, trails and tribulations.

CONCLUSION:

Brethren, today, let us be encouraged to persevere and forbear through whatever difficulties we face in life; knowing that Jesus Christ, is aware of our troubles; he has not forsaken us, he is still working in our troubles to help us become chosen vessels of gold for glorification of the Father of all creation, the LORD of hosts through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTES OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  Philippians 3:13-14  Brethren,  I count not myself to have apprehended:  but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things, which are before....I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Je'sus.
