DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  TITUS 2:11-14

(11)  For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
(12)  Teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
(13)  Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
(14)  Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

GRACE UNTO SALVATION AND ETERNAL GLORY

Brethren, we all talk about the Grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and enjoy its benefits everyday; but to enjoy grace to its fullest, we have to understand its entirety:  we did not sleep walk one night and stumble on Grace; grace came to us freely by one man's blood sacrificed on the cross of Calvary once and for all to take away iniquities of humanity brought on by Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden and to eradicate all other animal sacrifices for atonement of sins, and bring humanity into the blessings which were taken away due to iniquities of our forefathers and we are now opportune to inherit peace and eternal lives:  today, we do not have to exercise self efforts to enjoy what has already been given freely, but acknowledge the source of our enjoyments and give all glory honor and adoration to his Holy Name forevermore.

Case in point, in the above text, Apostle Paul elaborates the benefits of grace which is available for all men to enjoy freely;  he said, (i)  For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men;  grace is available to all men, both believers and unbelievers; if we receive Jesus Christ into our hearts as Lord and Savior and trust and believe in him alone; we enter into his grace and partake freely benefits of what he had already acquired on our behalves by his sufferings, death and resurrection; as a result, we do not have to strive to prove ourselves that we are worthy to receive favors from the Father any longer; it has already been given to us by faith in the righteousness of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; (ii)  Teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;  when we receive grace and are enjoying ourselves, grace should cause us to resist all works of the flesh and wrong doings against one another but desire attributes of godliness with spirits of humbleness, peace and tranquility for all humanity.

WORDS OF INSPIRATION:

Points to ponder, as believers, we are more blessed in the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ than what we currently anticipate;  Apostle Paul says,  (a)  Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;  believers, are not only enjoying freedom from bondage of sins or self efforts to enter into the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but we are to be certain that any moment from now, there will be rapture, second coming of the LORD of hosts and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and we will partake of eternal glories forevermore;  (b)  Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.  for Christ gave himself as a sacrificial lamb, slaughtered on our behalves to take away all our sins that we might be made whole and righteous, worthy and acceptable, unusual chosen people set aside with strong and energetic strengths to do great and mighty things for his glorification on planet earth and hereafter.

Fruits of thoughts, when we receive grace and are walking in faith through the righteousness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; grace is suppose to shape up our lives while we are in the enjoyment; for now the world have known that we call ourselves believers and are joint heir with Jesus Christ; therefore, let us bear fruits worthy of repentance with love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness faith, meekness and temperance anything besides these attributes are out of the will of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved,  by the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we were delivered from power and effects of sin, and the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit is working to transform our lives into the image of Christ, so we can be made perfect to be joint heirs and reign supreme with him in eternal glory;  if we have receive this grace freely, today, let us also share the knowledge of what we believe and are enjoying to others that when Christ says it is done on the Cross of Calvary, it is truly done! all debts has be fully paid, instead of wasting times dwelling on our past and present sins; let us rather focus on the benefits of grace, walk in love, godliness and inherit life everlasting.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  Romans 8:1  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Je'sus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spir't.
