DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  II CORINTHIANS 2:14-17

(14)  Now  thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ,  and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
(15)  For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
(16)  To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
(17)  For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

SWEET SAVOUR OF CHRIST

Brethren, let us give glory to the LORD of hosts, for his victories and divine inspirations through us on planet earth; for in his perspective, we possess the same greatness and qualities of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, to both the redeemed and children of damnation; to the LORD, we are of the same qualities whether we live in perverseness unto death or live in godliness unto life everlasting; are our lives acceptable in any of these?  as believers, we are not to change the words of the Lord to suit ourselves and our ungodly behaviors but to preach the gospel with truthful minds before the LORD of hosts through the righteousness of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Case in point, as believers, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us;  in the above text we learn that (i)  the LORD of hosts will cause believers to triumph in Christ Jesus; that is no matter what mountains or obstacles placed on their paths of righteousness; Jesus will overcome by his blood and grant his believers victory, peace and everlasting joy;  (ii)  if we are willing to take necessary steps to follow after his will in our lives, Jesus, will empower us with great qualities of wisdom to impart to others and to lead us in faiths through his righteousness;  (iii)  for to the Lord, we all possess the same human qualities of Jesus Christ, and whether we are saved and walk in his righteousness or unsaved and walk in perverseness; we are all important in the eyes of the Lord; (iv)  however, to the unsaved, is to continue to live ungodly lives and possess attributes of sin unto death; on the other hand, if we are saved, we will walk in grace with godly attributes which will lead us into life everlasting; which one of these attributes of life are we comfortable with today?

WORDS OF INSPIRATION:

Points to ponder, per the above text, (a)  we are not to change the words of the Lord to suit our own perverseness or manipulate it with unacceptable teachings to lead humanity astray from the truth of his words; (b) but preach his words with freedom from hypocrisy to all humanity; for the LORD of hosts is looking to see if we are leading this generation into godliness; for this cause we are sent in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to preach all things in truth through his righteousness forevermore.

Fruits of thought; is not it wonderful to know that the LORD of hosts looks upon all humanity with the sweet savour of Christ?  we are blessed forevermore!  whether we are saved today or not, he loves us all; however, let us not get carried away, we still need to be saved so we can be joint heirs with Jesus Christ, and inherit life everlasting;  let us look at our lives today and compare them to what we were ten years ago; have we experience any changes, both in looks and behaviors?  if we have, we are not going to continue to buy ourselves times much longer; things do change, as the clock ticks every second, minutes and hours we are getting closer to our destinations in life; let us ask ourselves, which ways are we going today ways of damnation or ways of life everlasting?  it is not too late to change destinations to life everlasting.

CONCLUSION:

Brethren, today we learn that God is love and his love for humanity has no boundaries; though we may be in the world and blindfolded by the enemy and continue to live ungodly lives, he loves us still because we are his children; what an amazing love! therefore, let us also love the LORD of hosts with all our hearts, souls and bodies; and love one another as ourselves; this is the whole law that will lead us into salvation Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and eternity.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  I Corinthians 2:9  But as it is written,  Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
