DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  I CORINTHIANS 15:19-22

(19)  If in this life only we have hope in Christ,  we are of all men most miserable.
(20)  But now is Christ risen from the dead,  and become the first-fruits of them that slept.
(21)  For since by man came death,  by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
(22)  For as in Adam all die,  even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

CHRIST THE FIRST-FRUITS

Brethren, if we believers in this life trust in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior alone with no other expectations, then we are to feel sorry for ourselves;  for, Jesus died and rose up from the dead to be transformed into the first-fruits for those who have fallen asleep in death to resurrect from their graves and receive eternal life:  for through the sin of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden we receive condemnation unto death, but through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, we receive resurrection after dead and inherit eternal life;  for, while in Adam, we sleep in death, so also in Jesus Christ, we are made alive forevermore.

Brethren,  from my point of view, what Apostle Paul is saying in this context is,  if believers only live to trust in Jesus Christ alone without anticipating any other future benefits from him, then our trust in him alone is not enough;  for through his suffering, death and resurrection, our past, present and future sins are all completely forgiven, and we receive grace and salvation;  now, our believe in Jesus Christ, is no longer vain beliefs, but hope of eternal glories.

Point to ponder;  sometimes, we believers follow blindly after what others say or do without first praying about things;  let us not just follow our hearts on issues of this life without doing our own research, to make sure that we actually understand what is going on before we partake in them;  for we do not know if  actions of others are acceptable to society or are in the will of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior;  not that believers are always righteous than others, but that we walk in godliness and not follow or copy after ungodly works of darkness.

WORDS OF INSPIRATION:

Brethren,  we receive grace and salvation through faith in the righteousness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ;  however,  (i)  some believers, grew up in households where no one went to church, nor read the scriptures;  though we receive Christ and are born again, sometimes our generational foundations were not deeper enough to withstand enemy devises;  however, with the word of God, on our sides, we are able to prevail over all enemy devises forevermore;  (ii) other believers, grew up in households of faith, but still walk in unbelief because the word of God is unfruitful in their lives;  therefore, let us study to know the word to sustain ourselves in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior forever;  (iii)  while other believers, grew up knowing Christ, through Sunday schools, Awanas and bible classes, but today have backslide d from the faith into the world;  regardless, Jesus, is saying today, it is alright children, come back home to the Father now, there is joy, peace and grace awaiting you in my arms forevermore.

Brethren,  today,  is a new day, grace is available for fresh start in the Lord;  he is not looking at our past behaviors, or mistakes, they are already being forgiven by his blood and through his sufferings, death and resurrection;  let us have newer hope of eternal glories through faith and righteousness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  Proverbs 20:27  The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.
