DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  ISAIAH 25:8-9

(8)  He will swallow up death in victory;  and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces;  and the rebuke of his people shall be take away from off all the earth;  for the LORD hath spoken it.
(9)  And it shall be said in that day,  Lo,  this is our God;  we have waited for him,  and he will save us;  this is the LORD;  we have waited for him,  we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

THE LORD IS OUR SALVATION

Brethren,  our Lord God will swallow up the destroyer of life triumphantly;  and will dry up tears from our faces;  and all our reproaches will be taken away from our lives and from planet earth forever:  declared the LORD of hosts!  and on that day, we shall say;  Look!  this is our Almighty God;  we have patiently hope in him and he will keep us safe;  this is the LORD of hosts;  we have patiently hope in him;  we will now experience joy, happiness and redemption in him forever.

Case in point;  this context was to prepare us for the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his second coming;  for at the appointed time,  (i)  the Lord himself will conquer the power of death, and destroy death completely in victory;  and there will be no more death;  before, it seems like death conquered him in the grave;  however, the grave could not hold him, and by his resurrection from the grave;  he triumphant over death;  at the appointed time,  he will not only conquer and destroy death, but will also break down its bars asunder to free humanity from its strong holds forever;  (ii)  he will also cast away all sorrows and pains in the lives of his believers, the persecutions, trails and tribulations that they suffer and the enemy will not be able to steal their joy and happiness again forever;  (iii)  we will rejoice, that the last enemy is defeated;  for, God shall wipe away all tears from our eyes;  and there shall be more death,  neither sorrow,  nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:  for the former things are passed away. (Rev.21:4)

Brethren, on that day, the LORD of hosts will be exalted both in heaven and on earth;  believers will rejoice, exceedingly glad and proclaim that the Lord is our redeemer, rock of our salvation, our fortress, whom we trust;  for he will break down and destroyed our biggest enemy, death, the destroyer of life;  therefore, we will exalt his Holy Name;  for our redeemer live forevermore,  he will fulfill his promises to put all enemies under our feet forevermore.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT:

Points to ponder,  we have an assurance that  (a)  we will triumphant over death the destroyer of lives by the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ;  (b)  sorrow and tears will be done away with and there shall be no more tears for former things shall pass away;  today, whatever is bewailing our souls, let us believe that Jesus has a plan to do away with all bitterness forever, we just have to trust in him;  (c)  death will be swallowed up in victory;  if we mourn because of our losses, let us not sorrow anymore,   for there is hope for those who believe and trust in Jesus and our love ones are not lost, but are with Jesus, and we will see them again in heavenly places;  (d)  also, the Lord will roll away all our reproaches, persecutions, and oppression;  whatever, enemies do to us today, the Lord is watching and waiting for appointed times when enemy forces will be dealt with forever;  (e)  let us not lose hope in the Lord, and backslide from the faith;  though we are slain by reproaches of our enemies, our redeemer Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior knows about everything, he will prevail against all our foes; and we will inherit everlasting peace forevermore.

Brethren,  our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is aware of all our reproaches;  regardless, of what negative or positive situations we find ourselves in today;  when we sorrow, he is also sad, when we are happy, heaven rejoices with us;  therefore, let us praise him still, it does not matter what our emotions are today;  let us not worry but take everything in prayers and trust in him;  for he will work all things out for good, and make us happy, and we will praise his Holy Name forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!
