(KJV.) ST. LUKE 22:21
(21) But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.
CONCEALED, YET TO BE REVEALED!
At the beginning of the ministry of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, he chose twelve disciples for the mission, among the twelve, was Judas Iscariot, who later on betrayed him to the authorities of the land, to be scouraged and crucified, buried, yet Jesus resurrected with victory over death and his enemies; however, at the time when Jesus selected his disciples, Judas Iscariots's mission was concealed, yet to be revealed to Jesus later on during the end of his assignment; moreover, no one knows the mind of God, his purposes to be executed at the end of Jesus's assignment on earth; therefore, Jesus knowingly or unknowingly selected his own candidate for betrayal; hmm!
Beloved, during the last hours of Jesus assignment, he sat at the Passover dinner table with his disciples, during the meal, he revealed to them that the hand of his betrayer was with them at the table, suddenly, the disciples became sorrowful, questioned him, Lord, is it I? cf. Matthew 26:22; moreover, he said, And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed! cf. Luke 22:22; even though we follow Jesus Christ, that alone does not keep the devil away from us; however, prayers and daily reading of the scriptures can guard and strengthen our mindsets and hearts, against infiltration spirits not to inhabit our spirits to instigate evil works against others; Judas Iscariot allowed his fleshly, monetary desires power to overruled his spirit, betrayed Jesus Christ to authorities, fell into damnation; this is not our portion, it is well with us in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Let us love one another as ourselves! he is coming back again soon! Peace and Love be unto you! Amen and Amen!
