(KJV.) ST. LUKE 11:54
(54) Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him.
INNOCENT BUT FUNNY!
When Jesus ministered on earth; though he selected twelve disciples to follow him, there were others who followed him on daily basis, listened to his kingdom message, doctrines, perceived his miracles, among these followers, were persecutors who followed him but with evil motives, itchy ears, ready to hear, perceive any of his unlawful behaviors, to alert the elders in authorities of his derogatory against the law; on many occasions, they challenged him of doing his Father's will on the Sabbath, cf. Matthew chapter 12; regardless, he paid no attention to their accusations, rather continued with his works: therefore, if we're in the will of Jesus Christ, working his works, let us be in spirit, discern evil works, but paid no attention to distractions, continue to do what is rightful in the eyes of Jesus Christ, work out our salvation with fear and tremblings.
Beloved, there is no human hand that can physically retrieve thought processes, however, when thoughts are related through words, they can be captured, used against the speakers; therefore, let us learn to be quiet, ponder on our thoughts before we speak, and focus on what matters, cf. I Thessalonians 4:11; we live in a world without end, cf. Ephesians 3:21, history repeats in cycles, what happened to Jesus Christ during his ministry on the earth, is happening to some believers; however, Jesus never fails; we are more than conquerors in Christ, there is no weapon formed against us, shall prosper, let us continue to do the will of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Love one another as ourselves! He is coming back again soon! Peace and Love be unto you! Amen and Amen!
