DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  1 PETER 3:13-16

(13)  And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
(14)  But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
(15)  But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
(16)  Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

WHAT WAS THAT ALL ABOUT?

Brethren, as we walk in the righteousness of our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, we have no reasons to watch our backs, fear no foes, or tremble in this world of darkness;  for, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ watches over our souls at all times, to deliver us from the enemy, his blood avails much and our souls are precious in his eyes;  therefore,  let us not be timid believers, but rather be bold and brave in his righteousness, know who we are in him, walk on earth as princes and princesses of eternal kingdom into life everlasting.

At times, believers suffer persecutions, reproaches and martyrdom for following rightful pathways of Jesus Christ; if they suffer because of who they are in him; then there ought to be no worries on their parts, but rather pleasurable and satisfying experiences, to know that they are in the will of his righteousness, regardless of what happens to their mortal bodies, their souls are not completely destroyed but will rise up again on the day of recon, to unite with him in eternity, receive rewards of crown of glories forevermore;  persecutions and martyrdom of Christ believers, are nothing new under the Sun; it has happened before and continues to happen in all generations, until the second coming of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior to receive his believers unto himself in the firmament of glory, live with them forevermore.

Case in point, Stephen, the Apostle of Jesus Christ, was a man full of faith, and power, did many miracles among people; however, one day, when he preached the truthfulness of what was going on among the people, they became furious and decided to stone him to death; but he was full of the Holy Ghost, and did not pay attention to them, but looked up steadfastly to heaven, saw the glory of our Father, and Jesus standing at the right hand of our Father; immediately, he proclaimed what he saw, the crowd became furious, uproar and drag him out of the city and stoned him to death; while he called on the name of Jesus Christ to receive his spirit, he also prayed for forgiveness of sins for his killers. (Act 7);  unbelievable!;  therefore, regardless of what enemies do to believers, though they seem hopeless in the hands of their persecutors;  (i)  heaven watches over their souls, there is hope in our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, there is nothing to fear or worry about in the hands of our enemies;  (ii)  regardless of what our enemies do against our souls, we ought to pray for them, as they try to destroy our lives, though we maybe aware of their evil works, let us not pray for their destruction, but rather pray that they are forgiven, and for the Holy Spirit to touch and transform their lives to walk in his righteousness: (iii)  despite the facts that, truth when spoken hurts offenders, and may put people in difficult situations; we ought to still speak truthfulness of matters, and receive eternal glories than cover up matters, and lose our salvation:  the question we need to ask ourselves are; as believers of this generation; are we ready to die for Jesus Christ, pray for our haters and killers?;  the answers are ours to ponder on;  and beware that what has happen in past generations, are happening now and can happen to any believer anywhere, at anytime during their walk in the faith of his righteousness;  therefore, let us be readily prepared to speak truthfulness of matters, suffer and die for righteousness sake, receive crown of glories and inherit life everlasting.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved, we ought to prepare ourselves as soldiers of Jesus Christ, with swords of the spirit, kingdom words of our Father, study to know reasons why we became his followers, have clearer visions of our Father's will for our lives on planet earth in our innermost spirits, be readily available to explain ourselves, to inquiry minds, who would like to know reasons why we chose to follow and have relationship with Jesus Christ, and endure sufferings and injuries, but still have patience and without resentments, and not afraid for our lives; but have good self-awareness that no matter what they say about us, or do evil to our souls; they will see the glory of our Father shinning in our lives still, and be put to shame for speaking ill of our preaching the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ;  therefore, let us persevere and forbear through persecutions, trails and tribulations; if Jesus Christ is for us;  who can be against us?;  the answer is, no one forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTES OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  1 Peter 2:19-20;  For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.  For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently?  but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
