DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  JOHN 16:20-22

(20)  Verily, verily,  I say unto you,  That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice:  and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
(21)  A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow,  because her hour is come:  but as soon as she is delivered of the child,  she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
(22)  And ye now therefore have sorrow:  but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

BEWARE OF POTHOLES!

Brethren, in the above text, Jesus prepared his disciples for things yet to come, comfort them ahead for his sufferings, death and resurrection;  saying,  (i)  That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: in other words; when Jesus was arrested, placed in the custody of men of authorities, his disciples became sorrowful because their master has been taken away;  however, his enemies rejoiced and cried out to his prosecutors to crucify him on the cross; therefore, if we are any trouble waters today, let us know that it has happened to Jesus and his disciples, and even til now, in some parts of the world, believers are still suffering for righteousness sake; our sufferings today might not relate to faith in his righteousness; regardless, Jesus cares;  therefore, today, whatever our trouble waters we find ourselves drowning;  Jesus is available to take all our troubles away; for he feels our emotions, anguish and tears, he already on load our heavy burdens of our shoulders by his death on the cross and resurrection from the tomb; we do not have to bear our own burdens anymore, but turn our fears and anxieties over unto him; believe and trust in him as Lord and Savior forevermore; (ii)  and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy:  regardless, of how sorrowful we are today; Jesus gave us joy; when he sent the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit to indwell in our hearts, as a comforter, when we are sorrowful; therefore, we have the comforter with us, there should be no more sorrowful days; when the enemy brings sadness into our lives, let us sing songs of praises to our Father, turn on our faith music boxes, light of the Holy Spirit will envelope our souls and comfort our hearts, strengthen our faiths to continue to trust in Jesus, and regardless of what our trouble waters may be; Jesus will turn all things around into joy everlasting; for it is written in the book of Psalm 30:5; ......weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.; therefore, there is always sunshine after the dark clouds move away, and we all know that clouds do not stay permanently in the skies, they move away; therefore, when in trouble waters, let remind ourselves, that no condition is permanent, and whatever we are going through currently, momentarily, that too will pass away, we will overcome all things by the blood of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; there is nothing impossible with him.

Case in point, Jesus gave his disciples an example, with reference to a woman in travail; sometimes, we experience negative circumstances in life, whereby we thought, those circumstances will destroy our lives completely; however, when we call upon Jesus Christ; he steps into our situations, takes absolute control and delivers our souls from all troubles; though we may talk about those dark days later, the emotional states which we experienced before our deliverance, are done away with, gone forever; and cannot be brought back into our emotions again; therefore, there is time for everything under this earth; for it is written in Ecclesiastes 3:1; "To every thing there is a season,  and a time to every purpose under the heaven:";  therefore, let us cheer up, regardless of what is going on now; it is only temporary, Jesus is working things out on our behalves for good; however, let us not just accept his words with no action on our parts; he has given his promises to those who believe in him; in other for him to step into our situations, we have to invite him in through prayers and reading of his words;  for, we freely dwell on this earth and make our choices; unless we receive Jesus Christ into our situations, he will not intrude into our lives; though we believe in him as Lord and Savior, we still have to pray everyday for his providence, protections, victories, and favors upon our lives.

Brethren,  Jesus went on to say to his disciples; (a)  "And ye now therefore have sorrow:  but I will see you again;  Jesus referred to the sorrowful situation which was to happen to his disciples after his arrest, trails, sufferings and death; but he also promised to see them again; which was after his resurrection from the dead; but his disciples could not understand him, until after the manifestations of his words;  therefore, regardless of how downcast our souls may be currently; let us believe that we are resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit and have greater faith in Jesus that he has taken control of our situations; and not condemn ourselves as failures in this world; we are not failures so far as Jesus Christ is concern;  for it is written in the book of Romans:14:22;  "Hast thou faith?  have it to thyself before God.  Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth"; therefore, let us not condemn ourselves, Jesus does not condemn anyone on planet earth;  (b) and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.  Praise the Holy Name of Jesus!; for, after Jesus ascended into heaven, the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit came to indwell in our hearts, quicken our mortal bodies to proclaim his Holy Name, brought peace and joy into our hearts whenever we are in sad situations; and this type of grace, no one else can give or take away except Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved, all souls born on earth have callings and god-given destinations;  many times, we roam around in circles without directions on where we are going; on our ways, there may be many pot holes before we get to our destinations; some pot holes may be deeper than others, but we all have to experience life in certain degree; however, all these pot holes are meant to equip our lives with stronger, greater faiths, regardless of how we find ourselves in those pot holes; whether it was designed from heaven agendas or from the enemy; if we accept and believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; all those pot-holes will tun to praises of hallelujahs, to glorify our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior forever and evermore; therefore, let us not worry, but be happy!  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  1 Peter 1:3;  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,  which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
