DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.))  JAMES 1:19-20

(19)  Wherefore, my beloved brethren,  let every man be swift to hear; slow to speak, slow to wrath:
(20)  For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

ARE YOU ANGRY WITH ME?

Brethren, in the above text, Apostle James ministers to humanity; saying,  (i)  be swift to hear;  in other words, let everyone be quick to listen, be ready to hear words of our Father and what other people have to say, be attentive, have our ears open to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit when he counsels, comforts, inspires, encourages believers to walk in righteousness before our Father and pay attentions to what goes on around us all the times;  (ii)  slow to speak; that is, we ought not to be hasty to speak what is on our minds, but rather speak slowly, be calm, let our words be few but with wisdom, knowledge and understanding, think about our words before we utter them;  for, it is written in the book of Matthew 10:20; "For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.";  therefore, it is wise on our parts to give other people the chance, to speak what is on their minds, without any interruptions, that when they are done, we may be able to assimilate their words and speak out the words of wisdom from our Father in issues of this world;  (iii)  slow to wrath;  as believers, let us exercise patience in all situations; for it is written in book of James 1:4; "But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."; let us therefore give patience chances in our hearts, to do his perfect work through our lives, so the world can see that we are children of light and not of darkness; if we are patient with one another, we will not be hasty to lose our tempers, no matter what our negative circumstances may be; and what we have to realized is whenever we get angry, use our tongue negatively towards others, we grieve the Holy Spirit, and he will withdraw his manifestations, until we are able to bring our behaviors under subjection to the will of our Father; however, it is written in the book of Ephesians 4:26-27; saying, "Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: neither give place to the devil.";  therefore, whenever, we get angry, we allow demonic infiltration spirits to win battles over of souls, however, when we let go of our angers and matters concerning issues that brought on our angers, we win battles over the enemy and his infiltration spirits; therefore, it is very important that after we get angry, or exchange harsh words against one another, that we calm ourselves down, pray for our Father's forgiveness, sanctification and restoration to fellowship with the Holy Spirit, commune with our Father again through the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ forevermore.

Case in point, humanity as a whole, whenever we get angry, at times, we act unwisely, do things that are ungodly and we regret later; for it is written in the book of Ecclesiastes 7:9; saying, "Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry:  for anger resteth in the bosom of fools."; from creation in the garden of Eden, Cain killed his brother Abel, because he was jealous of him; through his actions ungodly behavior, his brother Abel died; therefore, let us be careful not to start anything with one another, mind our words, think carefully about our actions and utterances to avoid conflicts anger and strives among brethren, and live peaceably with all men.

Fruits of thought, when we get very angry, spirit of strife will take over our souls and we receive the enemy's empowerment to destroy one another; either with harsh words or ungodly behaviors; at times to points whereby we destroy lives of our own family members; the devil is a liar!;  let us not give in to his infiltration spirits, be in control of our thought processes, even the smallest spirit of anger can escalate into devastating situations, anger can take roots in lovable grounds and grow trees of evil; therefore, when others rise up against us with spirits of anger and strives; as believers, let us not reciprocate words of anger with grievous words, but reciprocate with softer words, to turn away their wrathful behaviors; for it is written in the book of Proverbs, "A soft answer turneth away wrath:  but grievous words stir up anger.";  therefore, let us resist the devil and he will flee away from us; but rather, let us pray, read the scriptures everyday, to align our thought processes with the Holy Spirits to comfort, teach and counsel our souls within the world of darkness into eternity..

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved, let us love one another, for love is of our Father; if we love ourselves, when we disagree with one another, we will settle our differences and continue to dwell in love before our heavenly Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior;  today, if we are offended by negative behaviors of our brothers and sisters, let us forgive one another, as Jesus Christ died to forgive all our iniquities on the cross, love one another with the love of our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  Proverbs 14:29;  He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding:  but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.
