DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  MATTHEW 5:11-12

(11)  Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
(12)  Rejoice,  and be exceeding glad:  for great is your reward in heaven:  for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

KEEP PRESSING ON

Brethren,  if for Jesus Christ's sake we are spoken of in a critical or insulting ways, and treated cruelly, and unfairly, and speak morally bad words, which are not true, and causing harm to our characters because of our faith in his righteousness;  delight, and show great happiness;  for our benefits are abundance in heavenly places:  for they also criticize, insult and slain the foreseers in preceding generations.

When we live our lives based on the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and try to walk in faith through his righteousness, enemies will pester, reproaches and persecutions will come against us and we will be evil spoken of, by other non believers as fanatics, and critically spoken of by other believers of the same faith, but who have known certain ideas or taught to believe in certain ways of worship from preceding generations;  all these ungodly gestures are enemy devises to distract and obstruct believers from focusing on their callings and service to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

WORDS OF INSPIRATION:

Case in point, persecutions for righteousness sake comes our ways when we seek after godliness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ;  and when we receive him into our hearts, believe and trust in him alone, and serve him in the faith, and go around doing good to others, try to bring others along into the faith by spreading the gospel of his second coming. rapture and eternity:  today, believers are suffering from persecutions all over the world, same way other believers suffered in preceding generations;  however, Jesus is saying, if we suffer reproaches and persecutions due to our seeking after his righteousness;  (i)  we are to rejoice and be exceeding glad;  and while being persecuted, instead of focusing on the negative aspects of our sufferings, we should rather think of the end results, which is salvation, rewards of golden crowns and everlasting life;  (ii)  when being persecuted for righteousness sake;  those are signs that we are in the will of the Father and performing our god given assignments faithfully;  for enemies see our standings in Jesus Christ, his shinning lights and our accomplishments in him;  and, their missions are to hinder us and derail our callings from finishing our assignments;  (iii)  no matter what is going on, or what will surface along our paths of righteousness while we serve the Lord;  let us continue to persevere in the faith, for there are greater rewards awaiting for us in heavenly places forevermore;  (iv) in all persecutions, trails and tribulations;  let us sing praises unto the LORD, pray without ceasing, thank him, and greatly show happiness while still in devastating hands of our enemies;  (v)  let us also beware that whatever is going on in this persevere generation against followers of Jesus Christ, are not new;  the apostles in preceding generations suffered the same way;  therefore, let us press on towards the mark for the prize of our higher callings of God in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior;  let us not give up or give in to enemy devises, but persevere to our finish lines.

CONCLUSION:

Brethren,  are we being persecuted for righteousness sake today?  if we are, may the Lord rebuke all enemy forces coming against us in Jesus Name!  may his sacred blood of Calvary be sufficient to quench all pains and sufferings;  may his dying on the Cross of Calvary redeem our souls from all persecutions and reproaches;  may his infinite mercies continue to manifest in our lives;  may we have causes to enjoy his grace;  and if we suffer and die for his sake;  may our souls rest in perfect peace and in anticipation for his second coming, rapture and everlasting life.
Amen and Amen!

QUOTES OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  Philippians 3:13-14  Brethren,  I count not myself to have apprehended:  but this one thing I do,  forgetting those things which are behind,  and reaching forth unto those things which are before,  ...I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
