DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  2 PETER 2:19-21

(19)  While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption:  for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
(20)  For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
(21)  For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it , to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

ENJOY THIS FREEDOM!

Brethren, as believers and followers of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, we have been called into freedom from bondage of our past, present and future trespasses into salvation, grace and eternity; and though Jesus gave humanity freedom by his sufferings, death and resurrection, others choose to turn away from his freedom into bondage of evil; for whatever our sinful natures were that Jesus had freed us from, and we have already gained self controls over those behaviors, if we do not take proper cares of ourselves, in the faith of his righteousness, stand firmly with faith, pray, worship and read the scriptures; guess what?;  the enemy will attack stronger than before, to lure believers back into constraint and lead them into damnation; may God forbid!;  however, when that happens to any believing soul, their second stages of ungodliness will be worse than their first stages;  therefore, if Jesus Christ has given us freedom from all our transgressions, past, present and future;  let us be thankful to him, enjoy the freedom but show mercy on others who trespass against us as well; for it is written; "Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful."(Luke 6:36); regardless of what other people have done negatively against our souls, are presently doing and will continue to do in the future; let us exemplify ourselves in Christ; forgive them, forget their errors and joyfully move on with our lives; let us bear in mind that Jesus forgave our past, present and future transgressions to the point of his death on the cross, he prayed saying; "Father forgive them for they know what they do."(Luke 23:34).

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved, after we have known the gospel truth of matters concerning salvation, grace and eternity; let us follow after righteousness; serve our Father with joyfulness of hearts, forgive and love one another as ourselves; do things that are worthy of praises to our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; and, let us forget about our past hurts, worries and anxieties but rather embrace our futures, to know that Jesus is in absolute control of all things and we are more than conquerors by his blood, death and resurrection forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTES OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)    Luke 12:47-48, "And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes...But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes.  For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.";
