DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

II CORINTHIANS 13:5-9

(5)  Examine yourselves,  whether ye be in the faith;  prove your own selves.  Know ye not your own selves,  how that Jesus Christ is in you,  except ye be reprobates?
(6)  But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.
(7)  Now I pray to God that ye do no evil;  not that we should appear approved,  but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be reprobates..
(8)  For we can do nothing against the truth,  but for the truth.
(9)  For we are glad,  when we are weak,  and ye are strong:  and this also we wish,  even your perfection.

WORDS OF INSPIRATION:

Brethren,  let us look at our callings closely and carefully in other to learn more about what we do, to identify and prove our believe in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, and our allegiance to his call to service humanity:  for we know that he does not just live in us but lives in us for a reason;  unless we refuse to accept him in our hearts, or condemn him strongly as unworthy, unacceptable and evil; but we know that we belong to him, and are not children of perdition who refuse to accept who he is, going their own different ways, being led on by demonic entities into damnation.

However, let us pray to the Father to lead us not into temptations, but deliver us from all infiltration spirits;  not because we believe that we are good and acceptable in his sight, but because we are good and truthful, not lying, stealing or cheating, but showing sincere attributes;  in spite of the fact that we receive condemnations strongly as unworthy, unacceptable and evil, we can not do a thing about the facts of who we are in the Lord, but continue to be godly in our actions, characters, and utterances and be joyful in the Lord, when not strong but frail;  for we have great physical powers and abilities to function in the body of Christ, and this we are to admire also with our maturity in the faith of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Points to ponder;  let us take a look closely to our service to the Lord today;  (i)  how are we doing in faith?  sometimes trails and tribulations weakens our faith, our minds begin to wonder if we chose the right paths in trusting the Lord with what is going on;  when in storms of life, enemies will bring on different kinds of insults, judgments, accusations and condemnations as to why things happen and what we need to do to get out of our predicaments;  if we listen to all these advises, but take Jesus out of the puzzles, what will be the solution?  (ii)  how do we prove ourselves in the faith?  we are to pray without ceasing in the storms, trust the Lord to deliver us;  though we receive counsel and help from others, every help is temporary fix without the Lord's intervention;  let us seek his face diligently through our trails and tribulations;  (iii)   how can we suffer when his spirit lives in us? be aware!  just because we walk in faith through the righteousness of the Lord, it does not exclude us from reproaches of the enemy;  as a matter of fact, he did it to Job who was righteous, why not us who believe in Jesus Christ?  it is not always because we sin, that we suffer wrongly;  sometimes because we love, trust, fear and obey the Lord, that the enemy pester with our souls;  regardless, the Lord will not leave his children without help in storms of life or allow his name to be blasphemed through our reproaches, but he is faithful no matter what bewails us, if we seek his face, he will fight our battles and prevail over all enemy forces and set us free by his Holy Name forever.

Brethren,  let us always try listen to our inner voice, the Holy Spirit;  his mission is to guide our steps into righteousness, teach us when we lack wisdom, knowledge and understanding, comfort us when we are sad, encourage us when we lose hope, and at the end of our lives, lead us safely into the arms of Lord:  let us pay attention to his voice at all times:  when we are at cross roads;  let us ask ourselves,  (a)  what is he saying?  (b)  what is his desire?  (c)  what is his decision?  he is available to answer all these questions truthfully around the clock, day or night:  however, let us not grieve him, he is very sensitive to our disobedience and wrong doings;  he will sometimes groan in pains when we displease him;  however, when we walk in faith through righteousness, he is well pleased and will manifest greatly in our lives;  let us not ignore his presence now, today and forever.

Brethren,  we are children of royalty, we belong to Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns forevermore; what are our reproaches today?  if Christ is for us, who can be against us?  let us blow away all reproaches over our heads and continue to trust Jesus;  for, he overcame all reproaches by his suffering, dead and resurrection;  let us not worry anymore but pray and trust in him to take control of all circumstances;  let us sing songs of praises and adore him;  for we are already victorious, by his blood shed on the Cross of Calvary forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  Romans 8:1  THERE is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,  who walk not after the flesh,  but after the Spirit.
