THE DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  ST. JOHN 21:10

(10)  Jesus saith unto them,  Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.

ACCOUNTABILITY!

Grace be unto you!  As the seasons of life changes, time and times goes by, each and every soul is getting closer to end of their sojourning on the earth; whether we like it or not, someday, we will face the throne of judgment to account for our works while on the earth;  biblically, it is a fact, that cannot be cast away as unproven, unconcern, unimportant to our present life;  therefore, as the called into servicing Jesus;  it is an important factor to absorb, that, someday, we will account for our works while on earth, how we utilize the spiritual gifts and talents given to us by Jesus to help others, read, Matthew 25:14-30 for detailed information on the subject of accountability;  believe it or not, that is what will determine the type of rewards to receive from Jesus, for he rewards souls according to their works. cf. Revelation 2:23;  therefore, let us do the best we can for Jesus, work his works, diligently, faithfully, trusting him in the process, while we still have the ample time to do so for his glorification.

Jesus has risen, he had not yet ascended into heaven, but continued to appear to his disciples in different scenarios;  at the time, some of his disciples went fishing, including Simon Peter, while they were inside the boat, on the sea fishing, Jesus stood at the seashores, started to chatted with them, .... to the point whereby he asked them to bring the fishes which they have caught unto him; read John chapter 21:1-19, for the full narratives of what transpired between Jesus and his disciples at the seashores that day;  the point is, Jesus, asked them to bring the fish to him, not because he wanted to broil some to eat, but to use the fish as the point of contact, as an analogic perception for what he had intended to discuss with his disciples, especially Simon Peter, one of his disciples, discouraged him not to backslide into his old fisherman profession, and encouraged him to be a fishers of men;  as the conversation continued, Jesus asked Peter three times, if he really loves him, if so, to Feed his lambs, and sheep;  today,    let us think deeply, set our priorities straight in Jesus, ask ourselves few questions, are we really doing what is required of us to do as believers or following after our own agendas, hearts desires in the name of Jesus?  the answers are ours to ponder on!

Beloved, Jesus set an example for believers to follow, said, And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold; them also I must bring,... John 10:16;  therefore, the goal of our ministering is to bring others along to Christ, as he asked his disciples to bring him the fish, see the above text, he also, prayed to the Father, accounting for the souls allocated to him during his ministration on earth, cf John 18:9;  therefore, each and every soul will account for their works, let us be encouraged not to lose hope in Jesus Christ, but continue to trust him regardless of anything, bring others along to salvation, do his perfect will, so that at the end of our lives, we may receive the crown of glories forever and evermore.  Continue ye in Love!  Jesus is coming back again soon!  Peace and Love be unto you!  Amen and Amen!
