DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  ST. MATTHEW 17:24

(24)  And when they were come to Capernaum,  they that received tribute money came to Peter and said,  Doth not your master pay tribute?

THE INQUIRER!

Grace be unto you!  Interestingly, we live in a world of information technology;  therefore, we have to seek information to acquire the knowledge and understanding of what we are not really familiar with in this world;  some people seek information for the right reasons, to help solve the problems of this world, others to find a way out of certain situations, while a few seek information to open a can of worms, cause confusion, and chaotic situations;  as we live in this world, chances are we will encounter enquirers, nay sayers, curiority seekers, who are inquisitive to know about almost everything they perceive or hear about, inquiring as, why?  how? who?  when? etc., however, life is flavorful;  therefore, we have to be in spirit, prepare to answer any type of inquiry brought to our attention wisely, whether from within family circles, businesses acquaintances, schoolmates, or strangers on the streets;  let us be prepared with biblical doctrines at all times, to minister to the inquirers appropriately, and in righteousness;  for, the inquirer minds want to fish out fishes, but, inquiring for the right reasons?  Hmmm!  It is up to us to draw conclusions pondering over their connotations.

In reference to the above text, Jesus Christ and his disciples went to Capernaum, suddenly, the tax collectors came to Peter, with an inquiry, saying;  "Doth not your master pay tribute?";  listen to the question carefully, they did not ask the question in a rightful manner, but to trick Peter into giving them the wrong answer;  to segment the statement, they asked him;  "Doth not!  this is a deceptive inquiry; compared to, "Do your master pay tribute?";  if the tax collectors asked Peter the question right way, it wasn't for any harm, than to conclude if they should charge Jesus any tribute or not charge him any;  however, the initial statement was to lead Peter into temptation, in order to give them the wrong answer, open the door for them to allegate Jesus to the authorities of Capernaum for violating their rules and regulations;  therefore, whenever the inquirers want to know, asking trickish questions, never be hasty to answer them, think wisely about what to say, before uttering thought processes;  be circumspect, for there are always transparent holes in the drywalls;  in this case, Jesus knew their craftiness;  therefore, when Peter brought the matter to his attention, he gave Peter a quiz,  read the verses 25 to 27;  wisely, Jesus solve the issue, did not satisfy the evil doers with their heart desires.

Beloved, therefore, when confronted with the issues pertaining to the rules and regulations of the countries in which we reside, though we are believers, let us give to Ceasar the things which are Ceasar's; and to God the things that are God's. cf. Matthew 22:15-22;  the inquirer minds want to know, either to uplift lives or to cast down, never give ourselves up through negative connotations or walk into the deceptive traps of our enemies.  Continue to love one another as yourself!  Jesus is coming back again soon!  Peace and Love be unto you!  Amen and Amen!  Thank you for your time spent with me!

WORD OF WISDOM:

(KJV.)  Ecclesiastes 9:1  For all this I considered in my heart even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God:  no man knoweth either love or hatred by all that is before them.
