(KJV.) ST. LUKE 1:36
(36) And, behold, thy cousin Elizabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
GOD, IS GOD!
Grace be unto you! Whenever the Father wants to prove a point that he is the creator, owner of his creation and the fulness thereof, there is always a correlation between what he does; before, John the Baptist and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior were born, heaven orchestrated, kneaded together their lives in the spirits; (i) John baptized and introduced Jesus; (ii) Jesus is the door to salvation and eternity: (iii) Elizabeth, conceived John, and (iv) Mary conceived Jesus, the angel Gabriel annouced the birth of Jesus to Mary, he mentioned that Elizabeth was also pregnant with John; this is an implication that, there was a predetermined plan of God, which surfaced later on, between the two mothers, and the two soul as well; few years down the road of destiny, John the Baptist, baptized, introduced Jesus, fulfilled his destiny; Jesus laid down his life, crucified, shed his blood, resurrected, paid for our sins, fulfilled his destiny; today, the ball is in our court, let us focus on various assignments, take the necessary steps forward into fulfilling our destinies.
Fruit of thoughts; at times, when we pray for heart desires without any breakthroughs, the man tends to wonder what is going on?; how come God is not saying anything? however, to answer prayers are not within the jurisdiction of man but that of God; the fact is, God is a God of seasons and timings; when we pray, but do not receive answers to prayers promptly, the best thing, is to exercise patience, wait upon Jesus Christ; either, (i) he is still working on the petitions to bring upon the manifestations, or, (ii) the timing is not yet perfectly aligned with his will to answer the prayers; (iii) or the answer is "no!, wrong prayer."; in the case of Elizabeth, mother of John the Baptist, I believe she prayed for years for the fruit of the womb, and was called barren among the women, until her old age, when she conceived John the Baptist; why did God wait for so long til she was old to answer her prayers? the fact remains the same, God is God, he is a faithful God, and there is nothing impossible about him!
Beloved, is there any barrenness in our lives? may it be spiritual or physical barrenness?; the fact is the same, God is faithful to his word; therefore, let us continue to pray, hope and trust in Jesus, our advocate to nourish, replenish the barren areas of our lives into fruitfulness, joy and peace everlasting; let us never use human imagination, to decipher the codes of Jesus, for our lives; let's wait upon him, while still waiting, continue ye in love, and in the bond of peace. Peace and Love be unto you! Amen and Amen!
WORD OF HOPE:
(KJV.) Psalm 123:2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
