(KJV.) ISAIAH 43:19
(19) Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
TRUST IN JESUS!
Grace be unto you! Isn't it interesting, how God works? We all at a certain point in our lives, have had an encounter with the Holy Spirit in unimaginable ways, which leaves our souls at the state of wondering, what is going on with our lives? If anyone is in a wondering state of mind, you are not alone! Let's be encouraged not to worry, have anxieties about nothing, but, turn unto Jesus, lean on him, allowing the Holy Spirit to finish doing his works, trusting in him!
God is full of surprises, he knows our frames, because he created us, the blueprints of our lives are with Jesus; therefore, he knows what is best for us: for example, when the children of God left Egypt into the wilderness, their journey to the promise land was supposed to take few days; however, (i) because they murmured against the LORD, they wandered in the wilderness forty years til from twenty years old upward carcases wasted in the wilderness; cf. Numbers 14:29; therefore, could our sufferings be related to our own handiworks? Jesus says don't worry about a thing, we are in the blood, there is no condemnation in him, keep the faith in his righteousness; trust in him, it is well!
Second point, the reason why they stayed in bondage for four hundred years is that the sin of the Amorites, their unforeseen enemies was not yet full, for God to have a reason to destroy them for a peaceful transition into the promise land. cf. Genesis 15:16; therefore, could our sufferings be, because Jesus is waiting for enemies to change evil minds towards us? could it be delay tactics, until enemies are consumed before we received blessings? Jesus says, don't worry the battle is not ours, but mine, I will recompense; therefore, there is always an unforeseen purpose of Jesus Christ, in a believers' sufferings, his ways are mysterious and incomprehensible, trust his ways!
Lastly, the suffering of Job had an intended purpose of God; the faith challenge, though Job knew nothing about his trails, God the Father and Satan the enemy, had a conversation at the throne of grace regarding his faith, trails were orchestrated by the devil, but God allowed to happen for his glorification. cf. Book of Job; therefore, could sufferings be related to faith in the righteousness of Jesus Christ? yes, it can be! therefore, if in any type of suffering today; think positively, Jesus is checking and smiling upon you, for your faithfulness, cast away the negative thoughts, feel good about yourself, no matter what, discern the will of Jesus that he knows about it, give him praises and adorations, victory is all done!
Beloved, the promises of Jesus, never fails; at times he shows up unexpectedly when all hope is exhausted to make a way where there is no way; he made a way for his beloved children through the Red Sea, cf. Exodus 14; rains manna for them to eat, cf.. Exodus 16; gave them water out of the rock to drink, cf. Exodus 17: therefore, Jesus takes care of his believers; with him, all things are possible; let's trust in him! Love one another! Have a Merry Christmas! Peace and Love be unto you! Amen and Amen!
