(KJV.) ST. LUKE 2:11
(11) For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.
CHRIST IS BORN!
For example, (i) when we need to be strengthened in faith, refer to the book of Job which gives an account of the conversation between God and Satan regarding the righteousness of Job; (ii) when in persecution, one can study the life of King David, and King Saul the persecutor, I book of Samuel from chapter 18 through 30; (iii) when praying for deliverance, one can refer to the book of Exodus, how God used his mighty hand of power to deliver Israel from bondage; (iv) when sin overcame the world, for the love of God, he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life: cf. John 3:16; therefore, (a) Jesus Christ was born as spoken by prophet Isaiah in Bethlehem the city of David, and Prophet Micah, cf. 5:2; (b) he died and rose again to save the world of iniquities, grant salvation, free grace and everlasting life to his believers; Jesus, is the factor of freedom.
Beloved, every soul has a calling to fulfill; some of these callings, are easier to accomplish than others depending upon the assignments; in the case of Jesus, at the end of his ministry, paid a higher price for death on the cross, shed his blood for you and me to have freedom; therefore, let us appreciate his birth, death, and resurrection the important factors of salvation; without Jesus coming to the earth, you can imagine how many priesthoods and animal sacrifices performed for atonement of sins. Love one another! Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Peace and Love be unto you! Amen and Amen!
