DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  LUKE 21:34-36

(34)  And take heed to yourselves lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
(35)  For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
(36)  Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

AVOID EXTREMISM!

Brethren, as humanity, living in the world of darkness; we tend to strive against ourselves and one another, when we strive against ourselves, that is when we are not content with what we have, but want more and more fleshly desires and earthly possession which does not matter to our salvation: when we strive with others, we want the best of what other people have and much more; as a result we tend to worry ourselves, lose goodnight sleeps over what we need to do to keep up with people we think have prospered;  knowingly or unknowingly, we allow the enemy to infiltrate our thoughts processes with what we would call garbage; if we think of acquiring riches of this world, but do not have pocketbooks worthy enough to buy those things, we torment our souls with sadness, resist the love of our Father, affect people around us with our downcasted attitudes;  but, the scriptures says, "Seek ye first the kingdom of our Father with his righteousness, and all other things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33):  if we seek things of the spirit, read the scriptures everyday, pray, and worship our Father; we will be full of the riches of the spirits and earthly blessings will flow from throne of grace upon our lives;  if we have or have not, regardless of what states we find ourselves in this world of darkness; we will be content; for things of these world are for this world, we are not of this world, but live in this world, heaven is our permanent home;  therefore, let us seek for things that will not decay or perish with the wind, but are beneficial to our salvation;  when troubles of this world overwhelms souls, the enemy of our souls infiltrates minds with evil desires of the flesh, lures souls into sinful behaviors out of their predicaments, such as fornication, adultery or to have a little wine, swallow a pill to ease their burdens, worries and anxieties;  this is a lie from the enemy;  let us not listen to his demonic voice, but rather be careful of his devises, pray, rebuke him and he will flee away;  if we yield to his evil counsels, have an ounce of wine, next time we will have more than just an ounce, more and more ounces will follow, before we have awakening spirits, we maybe drinking one whole bottle of wine, have habits we cannot break away from;  the only one that can overload the burdens of our souls and grant everlasting peace is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior;  he said, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest...Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart:  and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30);  therefore, Jesus Christ is the only one, that can give peace and blessings without sorrows or nightmares, let us pray all our troubles unto him, he already taken control of all negative situations before we present requests before him in prayers.

Regardless of what is going on around this world, let us focus still on salvation, we hear preachers all over the world preaching about end times, no one knows exactly when Jesus Christ will appear in the skies for his second coming to planet earth to receive believers into eternal kingdom, but let us be ready for him, he will come unannounced, that is why preachers are announcing his intended purposes ahead of time;  let us be on our guards, pray without ceasing, read his words daily, have lights within our innermost spirits to guide our pathways out of snares of the enemy, to avoid his evil works of terror and at the appointed time, meet with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and live with him forevermore.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved, let us do all things in moderation, cast away spirit of greediness, embrace love for one another; give away things we have no use for hanging in our closets, on shelves of our kitchen and food pantries, make someone happy this Holiday Season, our kind gestures goes longer ways into life everlasting;  if we do them for people of this world, we do them for Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, and there are earthly and heavenly rewards forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!
