DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  PSALM 24:7-10

(7)  Lift up your heads,  O ye gates;  and be ye lift up,  ye everlasting doors;  and the King of glory shall come in.
(8)  Who is this King of glory?  The LORD strong and mighty,  the LORD mighty in battle.
(9)  Lift up your heads,  O ye gates;  even lift them up,  ye everlasting doors;  and the King of glory shall come in.
(10) Who is this King of glory?  The LORD of host, he is the King of glory.  Selah.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT:

Brethren,  salvation is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ;  the everlasting doors, the King of glory, and he reigns forevermore:  let  us open up the doors of our hearts and receive him, and walk with him in faith;  for without faith it is impossible to please him;  but with faith, all things are possible;  if we receive him, the Holy Spirit will reign supreme in our hearts and direct our ways to everlasting life.

Brethren, the question is, "Who is this King of Glory",  do we really know who he is?  the King of Glory is the LORD of hosts, creator of heaven and earth;  who came to earth in the flesh as our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ:  he was there when all things were created, and all things were made by him and through him: and without him was not any thing made that was made, and in him is life and light of all men:  case in point, he came to earth in the flesh as a Son, to walk among his own creation, and to experience life on planet earth;  during his journey on earth, he experienced all things, including death on the Cross;  he also experience the devises of his adversary through,  (i) his temptations in the wilderness;  (ii)  his betrayals of Judas Iscariot and his own followers;  (iii)  the accusations, mocking, beaten, and crucifixion on the cross;  (iv) and the evil desires of the enemy to devour children of this earth:  however,  the LORD of hosts is faithful!  who gave him victory over the adversary, and for all humanity by his sufferings, death and resurrection:  Jesus is our advocate now, and seated on the right hand of the LORD of hosts, and pleading for forgiveness of sins on our behalf, and ready to receive us into life everlasting.

Brethren,  today's food for thoughts are;  what are our fates in Jesus Christ?;  where we are going from here when we die?;  are we going into the arms of the King of glory, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, or to the arms of our adversary the devil?;   if we are on the wrong way, it is not too late to change destinations to Jesus Christ, the right way, the truth, and the life, there is no other way to salvation: today, if we hear his voice, let us not harden our hearts, but open up the gates of our hearts unto the King of Glory to come in forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen

QUOTE OF THE DAY:
