DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  JAMES 2:19-24

(18)  Yea,  a man may say,  Thou hast faith, and I have works:  shew me thy faith without thy works,  and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
(19)  Thou believest that there is one God;  thou doest well:  the devils also believe, and tremble.
(20)  But wilt thou know,  O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
(21)  Was not Abraham our father justified by works,  when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
(22)  Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
(23)  And the scripture was fulfilled which saith,  Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness:  and he was called the Friend of God.
(24)  Ye see then how that by works a man is justified,  and not by faith only.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT:

Brethren,  let us establish our faith, by obeying the voice of the LORD, through dictates of the Holy Spirit;  so, our works could prove our faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ:  if we claim to walk in obedience to the LORD, and have faith in him, but our works does not show clearly who we are in him, we cannot please him;   for, we exercise our faith by obedience to his commandments: regardless, of how unreasonable his instructions may be, we are to obey without any doubts in our hearts because he is faithful in all his ways;  case in point;  (i)  when the LORD, commanded Father Abraham, to get thee out of his country and from his kindred,....(Genesis 12:1);  he did not hesitate but obeyed, not knowing the end result of his actions and the LORD, blessed him.

Brethren,  if we claim to believe in the LORD,  great!  demons also believe and are terrified by the name of Jesus;  therefore, let us not fool ourselves,  faith is worthless without the practice of obedience:  case in point;  (ii)  again, Father Abraham, received instruction from the LORD, to sacrifice Isaac, his covenanted child;  he trusted and obeyed and offered Isaac on the altar of faith, and his action was counted to him as righteousness and was called Friend of the LORD, through all generations;  therefore, faith when exercised produces fruits of righteousness which leads to perfection with the LORD of hosts.

Brethren,  let us exercise faith by our actions:  when we exercise faith through obedience to the LORD,  our actions are justified by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and are counted as fruits of righteousness;  therefore,  let us keep pressing on in the faith without wavering;  no matter what bewails us today,  our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, is faithful to all who trust in him and will take control of all situations:  also, those of us who are strong in the faith;  let us help strengthen others who are weak with prayers and words of encouragements;  for, we all belong to the body of Christ, and are seeds of Father Abraham who trusted and obeyed the LORD of hosts;  let us also trust in the LORD, through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, forever and evermore .  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:
