(KJV.) JEREMIAH 6:16
(16) Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask, for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said; We will not walk therein.
THE CROSSROADS OF LIFE!
Grace be unto you! There are many different ways leading to the destinations of life, the first and foremost way, is a broader way, leading towards the wide gate, the broad way is leisurely to walk upon, but at the end of the road awaits destruction of souls; many choose to go in this direction, because, seemingly, it is appeasing to the eye, and pleasureable, to enjoy themselves; therefore, they tread down as a crowd, walking towards an unknown destination; the second gate is a strait gate, but the way is narrower, leading to eternity, but many souls, does not find this way, because it seems to be narrower than usual, and unappeasing to their perceptions; therefore, be concern about which of these two gates, you are currently walking to enter either the broad way leading to destruction, or to the narrow way leading to eternity; the choice between the two ways, is in your own prerogative.
In case you are not sure of what to do, Prophet Jeremiah prophesied, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask, for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein; therefore, if you are not sure of what to do, be encouraged to pray, seeking the Lord's direction on which way to choose, never assume that it is alright to try out between the two ways, once you start on a certain way, it might be too late to backslide into the other direction; the beneficial aspect of choosing the right way is that, regardless of how things may look on the outside as you made the right decision is, you will dwell in Jesus, and find rest for your soul; therefore, you can have the whole world, but lose your soul, cf. Matthew 16:26, or have the peace of Christ, and live happily hereafter. Ponder over it!
Beloved, many times when we receive spiritual messages from the Holy Spirit, we tend to listen or not to pay attention to his counsels; well, there is nothing really to do about that aspect, it is up to the individual receiving the message to choose to listen and obey his words or cast away, rule out as unprofitable; however, whenever we receive spiritual messages, never just listen and rule them out if we do not agree or like them, always double check the scriptures, ask yourself, what is the scriptures teaching me about what you have received; many times it for our own benefits to listen and obey what the spirit is saying to us; spiritual messages are to warn us of forthcoming plans of the enemy, to bless, uplift, and encourage us to live in righteousness, not to trouble our souls; therefore, if you receive a spiritual message, listen carefully to what the spirit is saying to you! Love one another as yourself! Jesus is coming back again soon! Peace and Love be unto you! Amen and Amen! Thank you for your time spent with me! You are blessed of the Lord!
WORD OF WISDOM:
(KJV.) St. Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
