DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  ISAIAH 51:16

(16)  And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand,  that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion,  Thou art my people.

THOU ART MY PEOPLE!

Grace be unto you!  Jesus called two fishermen, brothers at the same time, Simon, Peter, and Andrew his brother said unto them;  Follow me and I will make you fishers of men. Cf. Matthew 4:19;  they immediately left their nets, and followed him;  when Jesus called them to follow him, thereon, he told them his intentions for their lives, "I will make you fishers of men.";  they followed him throughout his ministry on earth, after his ascension to heaven, surely, they became fishers of men, healed the sick, preached the gospel to all nations.

Though many believers are called into the body of Christ, their callings and the gifts are not the same, but differs from one another;  some are called into the limelight, to be seen on the pulpits, preaching the word of God, choristers singing in choir, ushers greeting at the doors, volunteers taking care of the nurseries, while others serve as well, but in different types of areas behind the scenes;  it does not really matter to Jesus, which areas we choose to serve him;  what matters is,  for the believer to fully discern what their callings are in his body, and plant themselves within those perimeters.

Why?  because of the Christ intended purpose behind the call, not only that, but also there are gifts and talents associated with every call;  for example, if we receive a call to be ushers, yet desire the office of a preacher; we will serve Jesus regardless, yet, it will be outside the field of our specialties, when that happens, our gifts lay dormant within our spirits, while we chase after the air serving in wrong areas;  though we may serve wholeheartedly, yet within our spirits, there maybe voidness, displeasure, and uncertainties, not knowing what we do.

Therefore, as the call of Jesus Christ, let us pray to discern, find out exactly what our callings are in his body, establish ourselves in his will;  if we are already established in a different area before we find out our true calling, let us not worry about it, we can still serve in both positions, we have the Holy Ghost power to handle both, let us be happy, shining examples in the world of darkness serving Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  "Thou art my people, saith the LORD!"  Peace be unto you!  Amen and Amen!

WORD OF WISDOM:

(KJV.)   Proverbs 1:33  But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
