DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

MATTHEWS 6:1-4

(1)  Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them:  otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
(2)  Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men.  Verily I say unto you,  They have their reward.
(3)  But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
(4)  That thine alms may be in secret:  and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT:

Brethren,  the above context elaborates on givings and the secret intentions of our hearts:  our givings should be with godly intentions, cheerful hearts and in secret;  that our Father who sees everything may reward us openly:  not with arrogance, pride and vainglory, which does not delight our Father;  when we do goodwill with good or bad intentions, our Father knows and will reward us accordingly, by the Grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(Acts 10:4)  And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said,  What is it Lord?  And he said unto him,  Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.

DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

PROVERBS 8:13

(13)  The fear of the LORD is to hate evil:  pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT:

Brethren, to be God fearing, we have to resist from hurting one another physically or morally: show humility, put away self centered attitudes, refrain from all adverse behaviors;  such as gossiping, slandering, back stabbing, stealing, fornicating, adultery or causing mischief among fellow brethren;  these attributes are not of God, and it grieves the Holy Spirit:  refrain from practicing these ungodly attributes, fear God and walk circumspectly before him;  show love to one another, seek his face in prayer and read his word daily:  Jesus, will teach us how to fear God, by his word forevermore.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(Psalm 34:9)  O fear the LORD, ye his saints:  for there is no want to them that fear him.

DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

ROMANS 14:11-13

(11)  For it is written,  As I live saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
(12)  So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
(13)  Let us not therefore judge one another any more:  but judge this rather;  that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT:

Brethren, we are to acknowledge Christ, only as our Lord and Savior;  him only shall we bow, and pray to God the Father:  it is he that saves, protects, delivers, and intervenes on our behalf to the Father:  everyone of us shall someday give an account to God, be ye good or bad;  he is the only one that all souls shall be subject to, judgement belongs to him:  let us not judge one another, condemned, and obstruct each others God given assignments, nor condemned those who are different from us, or do things that are not favorable to us but love one another and pray for all as we strive to please or not please God, through our actions.   May we obtain mercy at the judgement seat on the day when the trumpet shall sound, and we shall appear before God in his glory by the Grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(Philippians 2:10)  That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth

DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

 1 Peter 4 14-19

(14)  If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye;  for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you;  on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
(15)  But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
(16)  Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed;  but let him glorify God on this behalf.
(17)  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God:  and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
(18)  And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
(19)  Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT:

Brethren in Christ, in the above context;  Apostle Paul, encourages us to be courageous in faith and cheerfully do the will of God, whose spirit and supreme authority rests upon us:  let us know who we are in Christ, that everything that we do shall be abominable to our enemies, and shall speak against our faith;  therefore, our character and conduct must emulate Christ, whom we serve, and be godly in all our ways:  we are not to be found guilty of killing, robbery, criminal activities, or as gossip mongers among brethren:  if we suffer for righteousness sake, let us be bold in our sufferings and glorify God who is in heaven;  he sees our sufferings and will prove us: for judgment will start from the congregation of God, and if we are found guilty, what shall be for those who do not adhere to the word of God?  If we are not free from guilt or condemnation, what will happen to the wicked and evildoer?  Therefore, let us endure sufferings in well doings, so the will of God may be glorified through us; be it good or bad, Christ is aware and it shall be well with us at the appointed season:  brethren, let us fear God, pray to him through Christ our Savior, read his word daily, join the congregation of God for worship and honor him through praises, offerings and thanksgivings:  God, is faithful in all his ways, he will surely prove us through Christ, by his Grace.  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(1 Peter 2:19)  For this is thank worthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
