DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

Amen. <><:

(KJV.)  MATTHEW 23:23-24

(23)  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!  for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith:  these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
(24)  Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

SEEK JUSTICE, MERCY, AND FAITH

Brethren, throughout the ministration of Jesus Christ on earth, enemies persecuted him:  the scribes and Pharisees viewed him as a radical person, who does not know too much about the law;  therefore, they followed him around, not necessarily to learn from him but to listen to his teachings, compared, to what the law says, judged his teachings and condemned him to death:  do this resonate to preachers of today?  maybe it does to some:  at times we have to view things through spiritual lenses, and not be too judgemental towards one another, we spend too much time, judging one another, that we tend to wear the zeal and emotions of others down the drains, make them feel unworthy, and discouraged, to carry on the intended purposes of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior:  this should not be so,  let us be our brother's keepers, we are all in this together, the battle is already won, we are victorious in Jesus name.  Amen!

Case in point, when Jesus came to earth, he was given an assignment, to introduce the kingdom words unto humanity, before his ministration, no one knew what Jesus's mission was or what laid dormant within his spirits yet to offer humanity; until the appointed time was ripe to unveil his assignment, to minister the kingdom words of our Father;  though, there existed the law given by our Father through Moses;  Jesus, had a new chapter to introduced, an addendum to what was already given by Moses;  in present times, there are many chosen oracles of Jesus Christ, ministering his words through the Holy Spirit;  therefore, many times, believers will hear newer teachings, instructions, inspirations from the Holy Spirit, that are not recorded, supported by the scriptures;  nonetheless, they are being given by the Holy Spirits for his purposes;  that should be enough for believers, to listen, assimilate, and follow through his purposes;  this is the point, whereby believers have to be careful, not to blaspheme words of the Holy Spirit, cf. Matthew 1231;  nor judge his oracles, for they are messengers of his words, not of their own carnal minds;  rather, be in spirits, think wisely, search hearts to know the truthfulness of matters;  for they may be an addendums to the kingdom words;  for, the Holy Spirit was given after Jesus Christ ascended into heaven, to teach believers all things of the spirits... cf. John 14:26;  we live in the world without end. cf. Isaiah 45:17;  therefore, the kingdom of heaven deliberates, determines, orchestrates earthly issues at all times, to implement newer strategic plans and solutions to problems of this world full of darkness.

In the above text, Jesus warned the Pharisees, saying woe unto you; and called them hypocrites, but who were these Pharisees Jesus was referring to?  they are traditional, religiosities, who had the zeal, upheld, valued the law than acknowledged its spirituals aspects, and intended purposes, why it was given by our Father, rather, they viewed themselves as holier than others, would not fellowship with people they categorised as sinners, those who did not fully obeyed the laws of Moses: they were too righteous, followed every law carefully, defended, interpreted the traditions of the law:  though they had good intentions, our Father did not need their help to upheld the law;  therefore, Jesus came to earth with an addendum to the law, but they opposed him, and his disciples as well, for everything he said, or did was wrong, and unacceptable in their eyes:  from disobedience to the law of the Sabbath; criticizing his disciples for not washing their hands before sitting at the dinner table to eat food;  to his turning over the tables in the temple, for unwise trading practices in the house of prayers;  which also lead to his allegations, persecution, prosecution, afflictions, sufferings, and death on the cross; due to the facts that the Pharisees viewed themselves as "holier than thou", they missed the basic points of Jesus's ministry; which was to introduce, salvation through faith, and of his kingdom words;  versus, salvation through atonements of animal blood sacrifices, practices of daily rituals, rules, regulations; therefore, Jesus called the Pharisees blind guides, stock up leaders, who would cast away flies,  (the poor), but swallow up camels. (associate with dignitaries);  today, if Jesus Christ should come back to earth;  what would be our statuses?  would they be that of the Pharisees or that of believers?  this is a point to ponder on!  Let us accomodate one another regardless of who they are in the body of Christ!  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  Matthew 6:8  Be not ye, therefore, like unto them:  for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of before ye ask him.
