(KJV.) II PETER 2:20-22
(20) For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
(21) For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them/
(22) But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
ONE BODY, ONE NATION, ONE WORLD
Brethren, when we receive Jesus Christ into our hearts as Lord and Savior, and are redeemed from world of darkness; let us be careful not to get involved in same worldly behaviors, to backslide again into ungodliness, back into sinful points of originations, where we began journeys of our salvation; if that happens to a believer, their state of existence in this world, may be worthless than what they were before redemption; it would have been better for them not to have known Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, than to know him, but continue to disobey his words and walk in ungodliness; however, many believers call themselves Christians, but yield to temptations to do evil; in case we ask if this is possible; I say yes! it is possible: case in point, after believers have known truthfulness of kingdom words of our Father through Jesus Christ, but refuse to allow the Holy Spirit to guide their pathways in his righteousness to discern evil from good, but knowingly participate in craftiness, lie and gossip about others, cheat and falsify reconciliation accounts, backstabbed coworkers for promotions in the secular world, envy and resentments towards others etc., directly or indirectly we participate in works of darkness; though believers are saved, being saved is only the beginning of their journeys into eternity; and the enemy's goal is to disallow souls to enter into eternity, but end up with him in damnation; therefore, believers, let us be careful not turn into our own messy behaviors again; but endeavor to pray and read the scriptures everyday, allow the Holy Spirit to guide our footsteps in his righteousness into life everlasting.
Fruits of thoughts, this world is full of temptations, there are traps set up by the enemy for humanity everywhere on planet earth; amazingly, he infiltrated churches with surmising spirits, to distract of worshippers from assimilating words of our Father; like it or not, there are evil surmising spirits in churches all over the world; he infiltrates the internet with influences of evil, radio to provoke evil lyrics, television to show and relate his evil works; even in matrimonial settings, he tempts spouses to have extra marital affairs, children to rebel against authorities and parental controls; regardless, let us not throw in our towels, give up and allow the enemy to pester with our lives; but rather pray about issues without ceasing, come together as one body, one nation, one world; have a common ground, dialog about what is going on in this world; what we can do, to implement positive changes and make the world a better place to dwell peacefully; let us start from somewhere, from the roots of our problems, find solutions from biblical foundations, pay attention to words of the scriptures; we are more than conquerors in this world; but the ball is our courts; devil is a failure, not a winner; Jesus made us overcomers of his evil devises by his sufferings, death and resurrection forevermore.
CONCLUSION:
Dearly beloved, let us not lose focus on our destines; regardless of what the enemy does, let us not lose hope, but have faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; resist all works of the enemy, fleshly desires, maintain our faith grounds by hearing and reading of his words; sing songs of praises unto our Father, glorify his holy name, overcome evil with good, enjoy his grace on our ways to eternity, live peaceably with all men forever and evermore. Amen and Amen!
