DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  JAMES 5:13-15

(13)  Is any among you afflicted?  let him pray,  Is any merry?  let him sing psalms.
(14)  Is any sick among you?  let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
(15)  And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

FAITH WITHOUT WAVERING

Brethren, as saved, sanctified believing souls, we are to exemplify ourselves with what we believe in the words of our Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ;  many times, when we are in one type of sufferings or other we forget to turn to the scriptures first, for solutions to our predicaments, before we turn to the world for answers;  what we have to realised is, our Father knew the beginning and end of his creation; things that are happening in this present times, were before him before this generation;  there is nothing that is happening in this twenty-first century, that is unfamiliar to him, but his love, goodness and mercies endures forever.

Case in point;  after our Father destroyed the earth with floodwaters during the time of Noah;  he set a bow in the cloud as a token of covenant between him, Noah and every living thing of the earth that from that day forward, whenever the skies becomes cloudy with rain, the bow will appear to remind him of his covenant not to destroy the earth with its contents with floodwaters;  Genesis chapter 9: in this covenant, our Father did not promised not to destroy the earth any longer; what he said was, to no longer use floodwaters to destroy the earth;  therefore, he already know that despite facts that he destroyed every living thing with water; that does not mean that subsequent generations will not fall into sins again:  the omniscience Father know it all!;  therefore, he gave his words through seers, written in the scriptures that whatever circumstance, humanity encounters on earth; there ought to be a solution in the scriptures, to eradicate that problem;  therefore, let us not ignore the scriptures, but rather use it as a daily handbook of reference, roadmap of salvation through the earth into final destinations of life.

In reference to the above text; periodically, believers may get afflictions from works of darkness; if this acts of evil happen to any believer;  let us not be terrified of their terror, run to the doctors office for physical consultation or healings; the scriptures has the answer to our predicament; we ought to pray, call upon the name of Jesus; rebuke whatever was done to our souls, back to the senders in the Name of Jesus;  so shall it be, we will receive healing by the stripes of Jesus;  cast the thought of what happened out of our minds completely and walk in victory forevermore;  no weapon that is formed against us shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against us in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and our righteousness is of our Father; Isaiah 54:17;  therefore, fear not!

Also, whenever, we are happy, let us sing songs of praises to our Father, not only at worship services but praise his holy name whenever our hearts are delighted; for praises is comely; when praises goes up, blessings must come down in Jesus Name; there are few song of praises in the book of psalms to pray to our Father as well:  if we are sick, we may call for the elders of church for prayers of healings; if possible, let us be anointed by our elders;  symbolically, this is a sign of sanctification of our souls, to lighten our bodies out of our sickness;  for when light comes in, darkness must disappear into the oblivion, we are healed by the stripes of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior:  prayers done must surely manifest the glory of our Father, every sickness in our body system must disappear, we will rise up, claim the blood of Jesus upon our lives and live forever.

CONCLUSION:  

Dearly beloved,  let us call upon Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior when we are afflicted;  sing songs of praises to our Father, whenever we are happy; when sick, request for prayers from elders of the church;  with faith without waverings, believe, trust in Jesus Christ, pray, ask for his mercies when sicknesses prevails against our bodies;  depend on Jesus for deliverance, healing, peace, happiness, hope forever and evermore.  Amen and Amen!
