DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  ST. LUKE 22:31-32

(31)  And the Lord said,  Simon, Simon,  behold,  Satan hath desired to have you,  that he may sift you as wheat.
(32)  But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not:  and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

FIELD OF DREAMS

Brethren, as branches of the vine, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior;  the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit, our companion, guides our footsteps within the darkness of this world, not to walk in ungodliness, but to pray fervently, prompts us to be aware when there is any danger coming from the enemy to attack our spirits, because of who we are, as sons and daughters of our Father, and our kingdom inheritances with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior;  the goal of the enemy is to bring with him as many souls as possible into damnation; because, he knows that his time to pester with our souls is running out; Jesus is coming back soon, to receive believers into life everlasting: let us not fear the enemy, but have faith in Jesus Christ!

It does not matter how long we have being following Jesus Christ; trails and temptations from the enemy will surface somewhere, sometimes in our lifetimes to shake solid foundations of our faith in the righteousness of our Father through Jesus Christ;  the enemy can tempt any believer, on any spiritual level, at any  given moment, it does not matter who we are, where we are, or what we do; he can enter into any faith or secular establishment,  cause havoc and chaos, destroy lives, walk away and jubilate over his successiveness;  beware!;  however, Jesus Christ granted us victory over him on the cross, by his death and resurrection, so long as we believe in him; none of his weapons formed against our spirits will prosper, and every tongue rise up against us in judgments, we have the power in our spirits to condemn; this is our heritage as servants of the Most High Father, our righteousness is of him who called us out of darkness into his marvelous lights;  therefore,  we are more than conquerors forevermore.

In the above text;  Jesus cautions Simon Peter; saying,  Simon, Simon,  behold,  Satan hath desired to have you,  that he may sift you as wheat.:  we may asked why would Satan desired to have Simon strained?;  I believe that because Jesus gave Simon a covenant, per book of Matthew 16:18:  "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church;  and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.";  therefore, when Jesus gave Simon the covenant, Satan heard his words, knew exactly what to do, waited for the appropriate time when Simon was weaken in faith, to attack and destroy him, just like Satan infiltrated Judas Iscariot, used him to betray Jesus Christ, afterwards destroyed his life; refer to Matthew chapter 27;  as believers, we are on Satan's radial at all times: he takes our own words, dreams and visions; whether negatively or positively,  uses them to warfare against us:  if we utter negative words, Satan will empower his demonic entities to bring to pass what we have spoken;  if we utter positive words, but without faiths, demonic entities will capture, work against manifestations of those words;  either ways,  the enemy uses spoken words to warfares against humanity;  if Satan was able to take Simon Peter out of the will of Jesus Christ, let us ask ourselves, what would have happened to the rock of the church building, Christendom?;  however, if we research deeply into theology, we will find out that truly Simon Peter fulfilled the covenant successfully;  therefore let us use our gift and talents to do the will of our Father, help those who are weaken in faith, strengthen them with his words.

Though Jesus prayed for Simon, he was still tempted by the devil; three times he deny Jesus Chirst as master, refer to the books of Matthews 26:69-74;  Mark 14:66-72;  Luke 22:54-62:  John 18;25-27:  but after he realized his unfaithfulness, he wept bitterly, repented and was forgiven; there are three points to take from this text;  the first point is, as believers, let us be in spirit, not to fall into traps and temptations of the enemy;  secondly, if we have received any covenant from our Father, let us know that nothing can derail his words, so long as we follow him, his words will surely come to pass;  thirdly, to guard our mouths, watch what we talk about:  let us realise that no matter what the enemy does, he can never overshadow the power of Jesus Christ within our innermost spirits, victory is ours forevermore.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved, when we hear spiritual voices, let us not rush to act upon what we hear, but pray to double check, know which voice spoke to us, before we react to do what is required; not to yield to temptations of the enemy, derail ourselves from the faith;  regardless of how sanctified we are in him, if we are not spiritually charged, careful enough to discern from our spirits, what maybe up against our spirits, pray to counteract his weapons of warfares; we may fall into his traps, and be shaken as harvesting wheats of the field of dreams; however, we have Jesus Christ always on our side, there is nothing to fear, worry about; Jesus conquered the world, gave us victories, salvation, free grace, life forever and evermore.  let us be strengthen in his might!  Amen and Amen!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

(KJV.)  Romans 8:34:  Who is he that condemneth?  It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
