(KJV.) JAMES 5:16
(16) Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
PRAYER SHOULD DO IT!
Grace be unto you! I am not sure about you, but what I normally do when I realize my mistakes, is to pray to God, through the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for his forgiveness and mercies; Jesus is faithful at all times, my shortcomings are washed away, and remembered no more, because of his blood grace; therefore, whenever overwhelm with cares of this life, let us be encouraged to pray fervently through Christ, the author, and finisher of human race!
As we live in this world, It is imperative that we will step on toes, bump into people treading on the same pathways of life; many times, unconsciously, without the awareness of our shortcomings, we inflict the pains and agonies, on the heart of others; it is a bumpy road of life, therefore, when offended, cast offenses away, never stay offended, rather turn the key of offensive to forgiveness, keep on turning as often as needed until seventy times seven, cf. Matthew 18:22; whether in the position of offender or offense, there is one mutual ground for both parties, that is, forgiveness, coupled with love; peace should reign on earth; therefore, when the Holy Spirit prompts hearts that have wounded others, the right approach to tackle the issue is prayers to clear the heart of darkness; then, reach out and touch the wounded, to iron things out, cut, clean and crispy, live peaceably, life is too short to hold on to offenses, tomorrow might be too late, unforgiven hearts matters to Jesus before the throne of grace: and love should do it!
Also, let us love one another, without genuine love, how can we trust others with private matters; we belong to the same heavenly father, yet when we are in any type of predicament, we cannot trust to rely on fellow brethren for prayers and emotional support, simply because of lack of trust for one another; this should not be so, at times, we have to come out of our shells, tell our story, call for prayers in difficult times, for Jesus to take absolute control of situations, solve problems, heal infirmities; therefore, today, if there is anyone among us, who is in any type of predicament, call upon the elders of the church, family, friendship circles for prayers, do not wither storm alone, there is help available in the name of Jesus through congregational prayers; therefore, let us join hands to call upon him during difficult times!
Saints, as we preach the gospel throughout the world, let us not forget to pray for the souls, there are powers and authorities within our words, let's utilize them for the benefit of the world, heal the sick, make the blind see, and the lepers walk, perform the miracles, signs, and wonders. Jesus is encouraging you and me to step up to the plate it is time to do his will like never before! Are we ready? Jesus is ready! Peace and Love be unto you all! Amen and Amen!
WORDS OF WISDOM:
(KJV.) Proverbs 15:8 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
