(KJV.) II PETER 3:9
(3) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
JESUS NEVER FAILS!
Grace be unto you! Where there is life, there is hope! Therefore, we hope that either something we think of, wish for will happen sooner, later or already happened; when we hope, we anticipate, that whatever we hope for will surely come to pass, that is where faith comes into play, at times, we have to exercise our faith to the maximum degree wait upon Jesus to fulfilled his promises for our lives.
Many times, when we receive a promise from Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit's visions and dreams or prophesies, we hope, anticipate for it to come to pass, when the promise lingers on, faith has to come into play, otherwise, we may wonder if it will ever come to pass or not; Sarah, wife of Abraham, when she received the promise for Isaac, as she waited for the fulfillment of the promise, she hanged on to the promise for so long, that at a certain time, Sarah, lost hope in the promise, gave her maiden Hagar to Abraham, to help fulfilled the promise; wrong! she created a mess for generations thereafter, cf, Genesis 17:19, 18:10, 21:2; therefore, if we have received a word of promise from the Holy Spirit, yet waiting for its fulfillment; let us be encouraged to never ever lose hope, give up the promise but continue to hang on to faith, be patient, wait upon Jesus!
As humans, we are always in a rush to either go somewhere or accomplishing something; no one likes to wait for any type of a reason; therefore, we invented microwaves to quickly cook or warm food, drive-ups, drive-throughs, and self-checkouts; no offense, but the world is for those who can wait; therefore, let us have patience in this world, we rush to only find out that we make mistakes that can be avoided if patient; also, a promise can be delayed that when fulfilled at the appropriate time, a much bigger praise, thank yous and glory be given to the Jesus Christ for his goodness, mercies, and faithfulness that never fails; in another aspect of fulfillment, the receiver of the promise's attitudes and behaviors will be transformed by the Holy Spirit before fulfillment, that the receiver will appreciate the gift, that what has been given is an unmerited favor of Jesus. This month is a month of the fulfillment of many dreams, visions, prophecies, and promises of Jesus Christ; therefore, if we have received any type of promise yet to be fulfilled; pray fervently, watch out for manifestations. Jesus never fails!
Beloved, whenever we wait upon Jesus to fulfill a promise, that seems to delay; let us believe in the word spoken by the Holy Spirit, include Jesus in our thoughts that he is the author and finisher of the promise, pray, hope, believe, trust in him that he has already worked it out in heaven before he gave the promise on earth, his words are truthful, though it might tarry, wait for it, it will come to pass. Peace be unto you! Amen and Amen!
WORD OF WISDOM:
(KJV.) Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end, it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
