(2)  And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

LOVE PACIFIES THE HEART!

Grace be unto you!  In troubled times, what should we do as a nation?  we lay aside differences, the finger pointing remarks, accusing one another of what went wrong, who should be the culprit for what we suffer for; but what Jesus is saying to you and me is, "unite in love, give one another the helping hand needed to wither through the storm, have faith and keep your eyes focus on me, I am the answer to your problems, I love you."

Again and again, love comes into play in all situations that we face in this world, without love, how can we feel for our fellow brothers and sisters when in devastating situations?  Love conquers all! therefore, it pays to love one another in this world; and it does not cost a dime to smile to people, but it illuminates the heart of the Smillie and brightens someone's day, say hello, how are you? to people, we come across our pathways every day, hold up revolving doors to someone who walks up to us, give a helping hand to others in needy situations, when we do the will of Jesus Christ, automatically, his lights of love within our innermost spirits shine, we feel his love impacted upon ourselves.

To love in words alone, does not really help any situation; unless we do something to show how much we care for one another, no matter what the situations may be, in laughter or sorrow, love pacifies the heart;  therefore, as we claim to love one another, let us show love, exemplify it in our gestures;  literally, Jesus loved us, when he was given the assignment to die on the cross for our iniquities, willingly, he offered himself as a sacrificial lamb, was brutally slaughtered, sacrificed on the cross, his blood replaced the daily animal blood sacrifices once and for all;  though after his death, his body was not burnt on the altar of fire, smoked to cremated,  his shed blood alone was accepted by God as a sweet smelling savour, we enjoy his grace.

Saints;  the point is, to love one another as ourselves, be kind, serve, care about people from all walks of life, believers or unbelievers, Jew or Gentile, born or free, do goodwill, that Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, may smell our goodness and mercies, as sweet smelling savour, look down from his heavenly throne of grace, smile upon our souls.  Peace be with you!  Amen and Amen!
