(38) Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal, it shall be measured to you again.
AS THE WORLD TURNS
Brethren, as the world turns, revolves, orbits within the universe of glory, to produce the spring, summer, fall, and winter seasons, so, is the life of human on earth; we move within the surface of the earth momentarily, and like the flowers of the field, we blooms in the mornings but fades away into the sunset; there are no dull moments in life, whereby, humanity remain stagnant, immovable until towards the end of our days on earth, when we begin to age graciously, fade away with the wind to be at rest; unconsciously, each and every person living on earth, at certain time of life, experiences physiological changes, these changes cannot be hindered regardless of our statuses on earth; therefore, regardless of what may bewail our souls today, let us think positively, cast away the negative infiltration thoughts, embrace circumstances with the hope that things will get better soon by the grace of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior; by his stripes we are healed, cheer up my friend, this is only for a season!
Fruit of thoughts, as we are in the holiday season, whether Christian believers or people belonging to other faith establishments, everyone is busy with preparations towards some sort of a festive; though not everyone believes in Christ as the Savior of the world, hearts of humans are prepared to join in to celebrate the season; as we run around the malls, shopping for ourselves and love ones; let us remember the homeless under the bridges, side walks, poor and needy souls, orphanage children, elder widows/widowers, the incarcerated souls, and people in the hospitals; show kindness, give out of love, put smiles on people who do not expect to receive any gift from anyone, let the light of Christ shine through our hearts to reach out into the world and touch someone with love.
Dearly beloved, Jesus Christ spoke about giving in the above text, commanding, Give and it shall be given unto you; therefore, when we give, let us give out of love, wholeheartedly, for the goodwills we dish out to others are never wasted, or gone forever with the wind; as the world turns, they will come back again to us, we will receive whatever we gave out to others, in good measures, that is, (in greater portions), pressed down, ( compressed to make room for more blessings), and shaken together, (blessings mingled together with other blessings), running over, (overflowing to others), we receive from all the four corners of the earth, the favors of Jesus Christ will come upon our lives forever and evermore; let us do unto others, what we expect others to do unto us, for whatever we do unto others, as the world turns, most assuredly, we reap what type of seeds sown into people lives; whether good or bad gestures: therefore, as we have received from Jesus Christ, let also give out to others. Amen and Amen!
