(KJV.)  ST. MATTHEW 1:24-25

(24)  Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him and took unto him his wife.
(25)  And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son:  and he called his name JESUS.

JESUS IS SALVATION
!

Brethren, obedience is a major characteristic of humbleness;  therefore, as believers, let us listen carefully to the voice of the Holy Spirit our counselor, teacher, companion, comforter, and guidance to perceive his purposes for our lives;  whenever he speaks into our hearts, normally, there are unforeseen reasons why we ought to obey him; follow his dictates, and accomplish his will within his body and the world of darkness: for just by one man's disobedience in the garden of Eden, the whole human race fell from the enjoyments of our Father into hardships and multitudes of sins; cf. Genesis chapter 3;  on the contrarily, for the obedience of Jesus Christ, to suffer, die on the cross, and resurrection from the tomb; salvation came into the world, for those who believe in him as Lord and Savior; cf. Luke 2:25-35;  therefore, in this twenty-first century, if we are fortunate to discern the voice of the Holy Spirit, let us adhere to his counsels, for no one knows, what our obedience to his words, would accomplish in other people lives.

In the chapter of the above text, when Joseph found out that his espoused wife was pregnant, he became upset, confused, and thought to put her away; cf. Dn 22:20-21,  as Joseph pondered on Mary's predicament, the angel of the Lord spoke to him in a dream, cf.18-19;  when Joseph rose up from his sleep, he followed the instructions of the angel of the Lord and took unto him Mary as his wife:  first of all, let us ponder on the following questions; if Joseph the spouse of Mary, would have cast away the instructions given to him by the angel of Lord, used the law to solve his problem, disgracefully, put away his espoused wife, what would have happened to Mary and the unborn baby, who was to save the entire world of iniquities?  You see!  though the law was given to humanity to adhere to for the peace of the world, there are times, when our Father, can override his rules and regulations, to accomplish his purposes on earth, he is the only one that can do so;  secondly,  as present times believers, if we receive similar challenges from the Holy Spirits, to take on an extra ordinary tasks for his purposes, how do we response to such Dilemmas?  We can do what Joseph did, just humble ourselves before him, lay aside our personal preferences, and embrace his will, for his purposes to accomplish on earth:  at times, unconsciously, many believers go to sleep at night times, when they receive words of the Holy Spirit, wake up in the mornings, and find themselves in circumstances, whereby, they ought to make certain decisions, that would alter drastic changes to their lives; today, if we find ourselves deliberating on what to do about any instructions given by the Holy Spirit,  let us take lessons from Joseph, he let go of his own will, embrace the will of our Father, took Mary in as his wife, but never had intimacy relations with her until after Jesus Christ was born;  today, can Jesus trust you and me to do likewise?  this is a point to ponder on!

Dearly beloved, let us not be weary in well-doing, for in due season, we shall reap, if we faint not.cf. Galatians 6:9;  in this case, Joseph embraced his calling, took care of Mary while she was pregnant with the baby, named him JESUS as instructed by the angel of the LORD;  the name JESUS in Hebrew language, means YAHWEH is salvation;  therefore, JESUS is our salvation:  also, let us be careful of what names we take upon ourselves, names are important parts of who we are in the spirits:  if we named ourselves terror, chances are we will terrify others throughout our lifetimes on earth, for, within the spirits, we take the characteristics of the names we bear physically.  For the love of our Father, he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. he sent him not to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. cf. John 3:16-17;  therefore, in this advent month, let us prepare our hearts to receive him, that the world may see his lights illuminating from within our spirits into the world of darkness, love one another as ourselves. Amen and Amen!
