(KJV.) ST. MATTHEW 10:16-18
(16) Behold, I send forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
WALK CIRCUMSPECTLY!
Referring to the above text, during the ministry of Jesus Christ, he empowered his disciples, sent them on assignments, ministered and cautioned them of the challenges that they may encounter along their pathways; for example, demonic attacks, wolves in sheep clothing, tares among the wheat etc.; therefore, if the disciples of Jesus were given such instructions by him, as present day believers, before we embargo on assignments for the Lord, let us equip ourselves in him, and in the power of his might as well; endeavor to put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil...cf. Ephesians 6:10-20, it does not matter how long or well we have to service the Lord, watch out, for temptations on every level of service; regardless, we have to harvest the field as much as we can before it is too late; therefore, let walk wisely, be careful of what goes on, in, around and beyond our perimeters, use spirit of discernment to do his will, walk circumspectly before him, be kind to one another.
CONCLUSION:
Brethren, Jesus suffered, died on the cross, rose up again from the death, conquered it all! there is nothing to fear, worry about in this world, when he calls us to a task, his grace is sufficient to establish his will in our lives, no weapon formed against us shall prosper,,,, cf. Isaiah 54:17, let us be encouraged to embrace our callings, step up to our plates, exercise our gifts and talents, serve him diligently, receive the crown of glories, joint heir with Christ and eternal lives. Peace be unto you! Amen and Amen!
