(KJV.) ST. JOHN 6:39-40
(39) And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing but should raise it up again at the last day.
(40) And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son and believeth on him may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
LET THY WILL BE DONE, O' LORD!
Brethren, whether a believer or unbeliever, born or free; every soul has an intended purpose to fulfill on earth; therefore, let us not waste our years wondering, lingering around in this world, but be purposeful, fruitful, labor ye on, serve one another; for time and tides wait for no man; and as the minutes, hours, days and nights, springs and summers, winters and falls seasons, the years rolls away, we are getting closer to the end of our days on earth, to face the day of accountability before the throne of judgment in heaven, when all works on earth shall be revealed, accounted for and rewarded accordingly, I pray that we are worthy to receive the rewards of golden crowns, and be joint-heirs with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen!
Many years ago, when my mother passed away, due to the circumstances surrounded her death, my soul was troubled, periodically, she appeared in my dreams to offer words of comfort; at one time, she said unto me, child, you will not see me again, the Father has sent me back to a family on earth to finish my assignment, she described the neighborhood and house in which she will be born; surprisingly! that was the last time I dreamt about her. therefore, today, if we are still alive on earth, let us do the will of Jesus Christ, serve him as we serve one another, it does not matter what we do, where, how we do what we do, what matters is, to fulfill our callings on earth before we meet our maker, if we get the second chance from Jesus Christ to finish our works on earth, it only by his grace, but who knows if we will be worthy of a second chance to do things rightfully again when we appear before him, therefore, let us work his works, while we have the chances to do so!
Referring to the above text, Jesus explained to his disciples the will of the Father, (i) he said, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing but should raise it up again at the last day; in essence, Jesus is saying that all souls should come to him, and those that come, he will not cast away but will keep them safe and grant them everlasting lives; therefore, if we are still wondering what to do about salvation, let us come to him, he is worthy for lives! (ii) he also said, that every one which seeth the Son and believeth on him may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day: this is a blessed assurance for those who received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, they have eternal lives, when they sleep in death, they will rise up again when the trumpets sound on the last day to meet with him in the skies, live with him forever and evermore: what a blessed assurance! Pease be unto you! Amen and Amen!
