(KJV.) ACTS 2:6-8
(6) Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together and was confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
(7) And they were all amazed and marveled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galileans?
(8) And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
THE MIRACLES!
Brethren, since the era of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit has not departed from believers, stop his manifestations of miracles, signs, and wonders; the question is, how can we tap into his anointing powers to perform the same miracles just like Jesus Christ? the answer is simple, though we have the Holy Spirit within our hearts, we still have to take necessary steps to nourish, and strengthen our hearts in him; if we say but how? let us reference the book of Matthew 17:14-21; in a nutshell, at certain time, Jesus was with his disciples, and the multitude, a certain man brought his lunatic son to his disciples for deliverance, unfortunately, the disciples could not cure him; Jesus rebuked the devil and he departed out of him; the disciples asked him why they could not cast the spirit out; he said unto them, "because of your unbelief", therefore, when we pray, or declare and decree, let us not have doubts but believing, and it shall be so! Also, Jesus advised them to strengthen themselves with prayers and fastings to cast out the foul spirits.
The point of the above text is when the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples, they spoke in divers tongues, the people were amazed at their utterances, how they were able to speak different languages, witness what they have not witnessed before, as a result, about three thousand souls received the kingdom word, and were baptized and saved on that day, cf. Acts 2:41; believers, let us not covered up our gifts of tongues, but rather speak and interpret it for the benefit of others; for without signs and wonders, how can the world believe that we have a powerful spirit within our hearts?; therefore, let us not hinder the works of the Holy Spirit, if we ever hear his promptings to minister, intercede for others, yield to his will, and bless someone with his words.
CONCLUSION:
As believers walking in faith, there are no mountains of difficulties, obstacles, hindrances, obstructions, or impediments of life, that are unconquerable through the word, and prayer, and faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, because he conquer the world, settled it all on the cross of Calvary, his death, and resurrection, believers are victorious forevermore: setbacks are staircases to accelerations into the blessings of the Lord, let us not give up, throw in the towels, walk away from our blessings, rather be strengthen by the power of the Holy Spirit, persevere and forbear all things, indulge ourselves in victory: secondly, if we have faith, it is not for ourselves alone, we have to exercise our faith to the maximum, intercede for others as well, touch and agree with those who may be suffering, support one another with the love of Jesus Christ; be on the lookout for our brothers and sisters within the body of Christ, and outside the faith; be lights of the world, shine, shine, shine, overpower the world of darkness! Peace be with you! Amen and Amen!
