DAILY BREAD OF LIFE

(KJV.)  ST JOHN 16:13-15

(13)  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:  for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
(14)  He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
(15)  All thing that the Father hath are mine;  therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH!

Brethren, Jesus promised his disciples, that after his ascension to heaven, (i)  the Spirit of truth, will come and guide them into all truth;  the promise was manifested on the day of Pentecost; per Acts 2; therefore, believers are not alone in this world, the Holy Spirit of truth, our companion, is the light within our innermost spirits, to comfort, encourage, guide, strengthen us etc.;  therefore, let us have confidence in ourselves, as children of the highest God, we have the spirit of truth, be truthful to one another, smile to the world, the world will smile back at you, love our neighbors as ourselves.

(ii)  the Holy Spirit does not speak of himself;  truthfully, when the Holy Spirit comes upon us to anoint our souls, or speaks from within our hearts;  he does not introduce himself, he relates the mind of the Father, whatsoever he hears, that he speaks;  therefore, knowing that he is with us at all times, let us acknowledge his presence as a friend, listen attentively to his voice, advice on the decisions we make on daily basis, watch our steps carefully in this world, before leaping our feet, to fall into temptations of the enemy, get derailed from his righteousness,  also, endeavor to have a purposeful relationship with him, never ignore his presence, for he is our helper through this life into eternal lives.

(iii)  The Holy Spirit is the spirit of revelation;  interestingly, he reveals the things yet to manifest to believers;  therefore, let us not take his revelations meaninglessly, they will surely come to pass, if he reveals things of the negative nature, let us pray to the Father, for his mercies, to cast them away, on the other hand, if we receive his revelations of the goodness and mercies of our Father yet to come, by all means, let us offer prayer of thanks, praise the giver of all good things, wait for the promise!, though it may tarry, it will surely come to pass at the appointed times of our Father through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

(iv)  The Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus, he shines his light upon believers, reveals the power of God to his children; his willful purposes are to anoint believers, empower, strengthen and establish them with faith in Jesus Christ,  therefore, let us not grieve him but pay attention to his directions, allow him to work through us, for the benefit others.

CONCLUSION:

Dearly beloved, Jesus said to his disciples, this Spirit of truth, will not speak of himself, he will guide you into all truth:  we can testify that the Holy Spirit speaks to encourage, guide, reprove, with the truthful words of God;  when he speaks, he does not make references to himself, but speaks words of wisdom, to guide our souls in his righteousness, to know the mind of God for our lives.  therefore, today, let's ask ourselves, what is the Holy Spirit saying to you and me?  A question to ponder on!  Let us pay attention to the Holy Spirit!  Peace be unto you!  Amen and Amen!

WORD OF WISDOM:

(KJV.)   Proverbs 18:10  The name of the LORD is a strong tower:  the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
